Had a self drive hokiday to Salta and Jujuy in Argentina. Saw some amazing scenery and wildlife. Stayed in local hotels and ate local food. Excellent

We have now used Journey Latin America twice and both times we had excellent experiences. They use local Agents, but also local 'boutique' hotels. We hired a car this trip abd the GPS was pre-programmed with sights to visit.

Journey Latin America have always been reliable an very efficient. This was our fifth trip with them. They are good at booking us in to individual style accomodation where appropriate and balancing the trip with different things and some free time as well. Thier local knowledge is very good which enables them to tailor the needs to the traveller very efficiently.

A great trip through Panama nad Costa Rica, I was travelling alone and felt very well looked after by JLA nad their local agents.

After a guided tour of Santa Fé de Bogotá, and a visit to the gold museum, we flew to San Agustín to see the archaeological park and make a journey through the hills on horseback. We then took time out in Bogotá to walk up to Lake Guatavita, see an outstanding tango orchestra and dancers perform in a large theatre, paid for by the City Council, visit more museums & take a tour on the city tourist bus, with its young actors performing en route. Then we journeyed to the Tayrona National Park, where we walked along a jungle track, crossing columns of leaf-cutter ants and seeing monkeys in the canopy overhead. We finally arrived at a series of small bays on the Caribbean Coast. The water temperature was just right for a relaxing swim. Next, we travelled on to Aracata to see Gabriel García Márquez' childhood home, then on to Mompos for a journey down the River Magdalena and a study of the brilliant night sky from our hotel roof, under the guidance of Daniele Binaghi. Finally, we drove on to Cartagena de Indias for a city tour, drinks on the walls, a roof top dinner and a ticket for the Hay Festival in Cartagena. A truly memorable experience!

Everything was meticulously prepared and organised. We were found competitive air fares and given all the advice we could have wanted. The places visited were varied and our guide (Daniele Binaghi) attended to all our needs. No detail was too small for him. He managed all payments for local guides, advised on the best restaurants in every town and suggested interesting places to visit in our spare time. Journey Latin America must be congratulated for putting together such an interesting itinerary.

JLA delivered as per brochure - I am repeat traveller with JLA and prob the No 1 for Latin America and Caribbean . Trip was somewhat hectic but saw a lot of the real country and culture. Most of the accommodation was fine - pleasantly surprised with few. Food could have been better but our local guide, lazero knew all the good private houses to go to for dinner. Recommend JLA and Cuba to anyone who seeks culture and the 'real' country.

We visited Buenos Aires, then made our way to the Iguazu Falls, then onto Rio de Janeiro and finally onto IIah Grande, a tropical island to relax for the last few days. It was a fantastic expriance , one that we will never forget.

We used Journey Latin America, they tailor made the trip to meet my needs , including my specific instruction that I wanted to see a Tango show on a specific night of my partners birthday who's dream was to see Tango danced in Buenos Aires. All the plans made by Journey Latin America were faultless and we had a trip which will last in our memory forever.

We only spent two weeks touring Guatemala and Belize but that gave us a taste for wanting to go back. We started off in the beautiful old city of Antigua with its cobbled streets and wonderful history. Visited the Mayan ruins of Tikal and Yaccha, Spent a day on Lake Atitlan visiting various lakeside villages by boat. In Belize we spent three nights at the Eco friendly resort of Chaa Creek before enjoying the luxury of Ambergris Caye.

This is the third holiday we have been on with Journey Latin America. We like the fact that they use Tour Guides who know the countries well, are very experienced and well organised.

Magnificent scenery, fauna, flora and birds, welcoming people, excellent hotels and delicious fresh food, especially seafood. Travelled in a small group, treated as individuals with excellent travel arrangements that appeared behind the scenes enabling a carefree holiday with plenty of time for individual sightseeing choices. Journey Latin America knows the country and its tour guides are very knowledgeable but not in your face working tirelessly behind the scene to make the holiday experience enjoyable for you as an individual.
