Mysterious Islands

We travelled to Easter Island via Santiago and were blown away by the magical experience of seeing the statues for the first time with wild horses running free in the surrounding fields.A week in Cusco,The Sacred Valley and Maccu Piccu was fascinating and cultural then we finished up on the shores of Lake Titiccacca. This holiday totally exceeded my expectations, it was the experience of a lifetime!

I had booked four weeks to explore Peru on my own and visit as many areas as I possibly could. Journey Latin America were given all the places I wanted to visit and the whole trip was exceptionally well organised leaving nothing out. I visited Lake Titicaca, Isle of Taquile, Machu Picchu, an Amazon / jungle trip, flew over the Nazca Lines, Arequippa, Trujillo and the Temples of the Sun & Moon, Chan Chan, Lord of Sipan tomb, Lady of Cao tomb, ...

I would do it all again!

Rating for tour operator:

Journey Latin America organised the whole trip really well. Having been given a brief as to all the places I wanted to visit and a timescale, they set to work on putting together an action packed tour of Peru, the co-ordination of the trip just couldn't be faulted, they really were exceptional with people on hand to assist at every stage of the journey. I was travelling on my own and they made sure the hotels to which I travelled were in safe areas. I would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of travelling to South America particularly for putting together bespoke tours on a budget.
