Really enjoyed my holiday. It was my first trip to S. America. Everything worked very well with no hiccups.

Worked hard to organise my plans

all the pre-booking stuff was excellently handled by JLA but unfortunately I got a medical diagnosis that forced us to cancel just a week before departure. JLA have done what they could to retrieve some of the money we paid.

they were very knowledgeable about different areas and logistics of travelling between the places we wanted to visit and recommending accommodation tours to do in each location

This was a whistlestop tour of the highlights of Peru - Lima, Arrequipa, Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, Cusco and Machu Picchu. We had at least two nights in each location. This gave us enough time to get a flavour of the different regions of Peru. We travelled by plane, air conditioned coach and luxury train, and stayed in comfortable hotels (no roughing it in hostels!).

We travelled through 6 Central American countries by road starting in Panama and ending in Guatamala. Wonderful scenery, great people and interesting histories. Despite all the cvil wars, each country has a lot to offer although they still seem somewhat unstable. This was an 'experience' holiday, quite tiring but worth every minute. The more you travel, the more you realise how little you have actually seen!

Efficient from start to finish during simply booking procedure. An excellent tour leader was the icing on the cake.

We spent 1 night in Lima, and then 3 nights in Cusco at the wonderful Inketerra La Casona hotel which was adored. We found Cusco and the surroundings just wonderful and a great place to acclimatise, ready for the amazing Machu Picchu experience. We would strongly recommend that people stay at the Sanctuary Lodge just outside the site...... amazing. We loved the Vistadome train rides too. We then returned to Cusco, and then eventually spent 4 nights with friends in Uruguay.

They were very helpful, informative and put together all the plans.

This holiday covered many things Nature, Volcanoes, Mayan ruins,Beach,different modes of travel,Easter festivities.

JLA The itinerary was accurate.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Cuba. Everything about Cuba is astonishing. We travelled around the western half of the island - Havana, Cienfuegos, Santa Clara, Trinidad and Vinales. We stayed in both hotels and homestays and had guided tours in each location. We really felt that we got to know the people and the country. The history, architecture, natural beauty and ambience of Cuba is truly amazing!

Journey Latin America provided an excellent service tailoring our trip to suit our wishes.

Generally went well after volcanic ash caused a delay; the Mayan ruins were very interesting but the wildlife opportunities were not quite as good as we had hoped.

JLA lacked a little current information & could have advised slightly better opportunities.

I saw a good variety of wildlife in two contrasting areas; the Ibera wetlands in the North and the Peninsula Valdes in the south.

The tour operator put me in touch and booked with two lodges I did not know about. Both were excellent.
