We wanted to see the Mayan sites and their history and it was a total success

Very efficient, effective, to the point and very timely

We planned a holiday incorporating a volunteer placement in Merida, and visiting family in San Cristobal, taking the opportunity to experience historical and natural sites within the country

This is the 4th time we have travelled with Journey Latin America. We have always experienced exceptional service in terms of holiday planning, and follow up attention whilst away travelling.

We were very well looked after by Journey Latin America. An excellent itinerary and some good hotels to stay in. All the drivers and guides were efficient, pleasant and courteous so we could relax.

A well chosen itinerary and the local rep was available when we were booked in to a sub standard room.

The two-week holiday took in most of the main sights of Chile: the Atacama Desert, the Lake District, Chiloé Island, Patagonia and the Torres del Paine national park, Punta Arenas, Santiago and Valparaiso

The hotels were all excellent, two of them outstanding, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and looked after us all very well.

JLA provided a holiday with excellent organisation, reasonable hotels as mid priced holiday, an exceptional guide and amazing excursions. It was an excellent overview of Patagonia. I especially liked the 5 days when we were able to hike. The first hike in Huerquehue NP was optional so we paid 300USD among 4 of us. The guide was amazing and so informative. We all made the 700m ascent. The second walk at Torres del Paine was around the lakes - stunningly beautiful. A guide took us around Mt Fitzroy. We did not ascend the 20 km walk but managed 14km around the base which was much flatter. The scenery is the most spectacular I have ever seen and lunch alongside a stream watching Mt Fitzroy topped it off. The geology is fascinating. All the guides were excellent for the variety of excursions that we made.

Planes, trains and automobiles, and boats, comfortable motorcoaches, cable cars and minibuses. If you want to cover a lot of ground this fast paced tour has it all, especially Machu Picchu and Iguazu Falls. Comfortable shoes a must!
