Costa Rica Wildlife Adventure

We travelled around four areas of Costa Rica; the Atlantic Coast at Tortuguero, the Pacific Coast at Corcovado and the central belt at Arenal and Poas. Everything went like clockwork and we saw so much of this lovely country and it's wildlife. Would recommended this holiday wholehearted.

Knowledgeable, patient and reassuring. The whole team are involved and anybody you speak to can help. With a big holiday this is so important. Phones are answered promptly and emailed responded to quickly even if your own correspondence is out of the office. Can't recommend Journey Latin America highly enough.

Discovery tour

It was 3 weeks tour of Central America. It was classed as a Discovery tour which essentially was a 'no frills' tour. An excellent experience .

See remarks above. Journey Latin America organised everything brilliantly. We were met at each airport , hotel etc. Transfers worked really well. Guide on the boat was excellent and the whole boat experience was great. Nearly had a disaster when one of our part lost their passport in the USA before the holiday started and had to re route home not via the USA because of his temp passport. Hannah Waterhouse at Journey Latin America sorted it all out for us quickly and without fuss!

Journey Latin America Paraqueet [Group tour (10 people) touring Cuba]

Excellent trip which went smoothly due to the guide's ability to 'work the Cuban system' and quickly iron out issues which arose with hotel bookings, etc. [as happen in Cuba]. Seeing Cuba a bit off the most beaten track and experiencing the food, culture, history and political system made for a very interesting holiday.

Excellent customer service beforehand. Good pre-trip information etc and excellent guide and driver throughout. Journey Latin America are very much on the ball during the trip itself with good ongoing communication between the guide and the head office.

Amazing well organised trip to nicaragua

The itinerary was excellent and very well thought through. The consultant listened to what I wanted and made recommendations based on this and clearly knew the countries well.

A memorable experience.

The cruise yacht was very comfortable with excellent food and helpful and friendly staff. Our guide took us out for walks on the islands twice daily in the early morning and mid-afternoon. We saw lots of animals at close quarters everyday which was an amazing experience. We returned to Quito for another 5 nights staying in the old colonial part of the city. During this time we visited the equator, the Teleficio, the Panecillo and Otovalo. We also enjoyed exploring old Quito with its quaint cobbled streets and spending time in the Plaza Independencia (the plaza grande) where there was always lots going on. We then travelled to Coca to join the Manatee Amazon Adventure cruise. This proved to be a very relaxing and unforgettable experience. Again we were taken out on guided trips twice daily which included two jungle walks. For these trips we transferred from the cruise boat to a monotorized canoe. We visited a village in the jungle, had lunch on in a jungle lodge, and enjoyed the peace and quiet of some of the narrower blackwater rivers watching the wildlife and marvelling at the lush vegetation all around. This was a once in a lifetime holiday which are so pleased to have experienced.

Journey Latin America arranged a bespoke holiday for us accommodating all our requests. They were professional, courteous and helpful throughout. Whilst on the trip we were never without a contact telephone number should we have needed help t any time.

Exceeding expectations!

A lifelong ambition fulfilled. Our journey around South America was brilliant visiting Brazil, Peru, Chile and AArgentina. Rio de Jaeiro, Mach Pichu, Valparaiso and the wine lands of Argentina all came to life. A particular highlight was Iguasu Falls which were awesome. A months journey could have been two. Just an amazing experience.
