We had such high expectation for this holiday, which included numbers 1 and 2 on our bucket list. Galapagos Islands and Machu Picchu. Everything out did our expectations. The Galapagos cruise on MY Letty was just wonderful, everyday we thought it couldnt get better - but it did. All the staff on Letty were amazing, our two guides were so knowledgeable, their love and respect for their islands and its wildlife was infectious. We were sad when we had to leave. Then on to Peru, culminating in a 2 day visit to Machu Picchu, What an experience, again out did our expectations. On the second day we had tickets for WaynaPicchu, it was lovely to see Machu Picchu from a different angle, even though it was quite a climb!

A huge thank you goes to VELOSO travel for making out holiday such a success. They were excellent from start to finish. The organization was exceptional, the whole holiday ran like clockwork. We were very impressed with the pack that came with our tickets etc. The presentation was excellent and included lots of helpful additional information. We were certainly highly recommend Veloso to anyone travelling to South America.

We had an amazing 2 week /4 centre holiday to Brazil organised by Veloso Tours. We met our daughter in Rio, where she is currently studying and had a fabulous guide for our first of four days in the city. We then flew to the beautiful Iguasso Falls for 2 days. We flew on to Manaus and spent half a day exploring the city before sailing down the Amazon to lodge for 2 days. Our final visit of the trip was to Salvador - an amazing city with a very different vibe to Rio. Highlights of the trip for me were watching the sunset over Ipanema Beach and swimming in the Amazon. We would have loved to have stayed longer in each venue but work constraints meant this had to be a whistle-stop tour. We packed a great deal in, saw such incredibly beautiful and diverse places and made lots of special memories.

We had such a wonderful time the organisation was flawless - in a holiday that relied on excellent planning there was not one single glitch. Our accommodation was fabulous, every flight connected (in spite of a massive storm as we left Iguasso) and our guides we great. Veloso helped us plan this trip of a lifetime with just one month’s notice and much changing of plans along the way. Nothing was too much trouble for them - they even organised an escort to take our daughter safely back to her flat in Rio as we flew home. I very much hope to go back to South America and I will most definitely be booking any further trips with Veloso.

Two-week holiday in Costa Rica primarily with an interest in wildlife, in all its forms, and of conservation ideas, policies and practical application. All objectives met within a very caring and polite people, with high standards of travel, refreshment and accommodation. It was also a very humbling experience to be in the natural world where all forms of wildlife - birds and animals - had no fear of human beings; we were, truly, entering their world and on their terms, but that is what we wanted to achieve.

Veloso could not have been more informative and helpful from the very beginning in helping to shape our ideas and of developing the associated itinerary, through to the end of the holiday when we found ourselves in some difficulty in arranging and booking my wife's seat on the plane back to Gatwick. Having contacted Veloso to explain our predicament, Veloso arranged for us to be collected slightly earlier from our hotel on departure day, and of arranging for an operator to meet us at the airport to help resolve the mini-crisis, which he was able to do in very quick time. We therefore have the highest praise for the Veloso staff.

We had a great time visiting Guatemala - for the Mayan ruins, the culture and the wildlife - and then Belize for the birds and wildlife.

our local tour operator was Sin Fronteras in Guatemala - all went well except that the driver was not there to meet us in Flores until later. In Belize, we were with Chaa Creek or Lamanai Lodge, where we had the same wildlife guide throughout. This was all put together by Veloso Tours.

The perfect holiday to Brazil for great variety with the vibrancy of Rio ,the sights ,culture and so much to experience.then . Then the breathtaking Igassu falls staying at the wonderful Belmond then finally relaxing in Búzios ,

Return customer for the third time because Veloso really know how to put a package together for South America! Well recommended,well organised,excellent hotels and guides and great value considering the package .

A holiday in two parts. Firstly a 5 day train trip through the spectacular Copper Canyon staying in hotels overnight. And then a flight to Cancun from Mexico City, to stay at Playa del Carmen, visiting a few more sites and chilling out on the beach. The Mexican people were really friendly, the food and hotels good and, the weather just great.

A complicated itinerary involving trains, flights and road travel was planned and executed by Veloso exceptionally well. Travelling around was never an issue. English speaking Guides ensured everything ran really smoothly.

We went on a three week trip to Chile, covering the middle of Chile, Patagonia and the Atacama desert. Wee started off in Santiago for a couple of nights, drove to Valparaíso in a hire car via the Casablanca wine region. We thenheaded south to Santa Cruz, Chillán, Pucón and Puerto Varas. We flew down to Patagonia for five days then finished off with four days in the Atacama desert.

Excellent organisation of the itinerary and logistics with plenty of time allocated to each place. Hotels were chosen for quality and location. Everything worked well.

We booked our Guatemala holiday on the back of our Mexico holiday last year with Veloso. We travelled through various places in Guatemala and then on to Belize. We were met at every place and escorted around. The guides were brilliant and Very well informed on everything we were interested in. Guatemala was interesting and I had no idea that it was so mountainous with 3 active volcanos! It would have been helpful to have seen the relief map of the country in Guatemala City on the way into the country...we sorted a city trip out on our return to the city before an early morning flight.

Veloso did a brilliant job of sorting our holiday which we booked fairly last minute! They managed to get us booked into the hotels they recommended. We also used the operator in Guatemala to add a few extra things and sort out an issue with a hotel!
