We had a three-week vacation to Peru and the Galapagos Island in Sept 2019. It was our first trip to South America and covered two key locations on our bucket list: Manchu Picchu and the Galapagos. We had a fantastic time and thought this got to be the best holiday we had over the last two decades!!! Our journey started in Peru, then onto Lake Titicaca, Cusco, Manchu Picchu followed by an amazing 6-night cruise on the Galapagos Island and ends in Quito. We took thousands of pictures and learnt so much in just three weeks. One of the highlights, other than hiking on Manchu Picchu and cruising the Galápagos Islands, was the 10.5 hours train trip to Cusco. What a best way to experience the diversity of the country of Peru!! We were also very impressed with Quito. What a beautiful city with such a deep history presented in architecture and an amazing diversity of nature. We even talked about going back to Ecuador to explore more before we left. All in all, a life time experience we’ll cherish.......

Other than the natural beauty, the culture and the people from the places we’ve visited, we cannot be more impressed with how well organised, dedicated and professional the tour operator Veloso was. From the planning stage throughout our entire trip, we received very high standard services and with a great personal touch. Paulo Veloso also reached out to us addressing our inquiries. Their team of local operators were super efficient, professional and equipped with deep knowledge and passion for what they do/know/share. This is probably why we think it was our best holiday ever - the people who have helped to deliver a memorable life-time experience to us!! We have already recommended Veloso to our friends and we do hope to have another Veloso experience in the near future 😁.

We had a holiday to Ecuador mainland and Galapagos booked with a major UK Cruise company. This was cancelled 48 hours before departure (a Monday) because of Foreign Office advice despite the troubles in Quito being settled 2 weeks before our departure. Team Veloso spent a whole Saturday rearranging the whole trip with success.

This was the second trip we had arranged through Veloso. We have found them completely helpful and totally professional in all aspects of making the needed arrangements. Veloso operate at exactly the level one would hope for of a specialist travel operator.

The two of us experienced a brilliant two weeks travelling around parts of Peru. Starting in Lima, then on to Arequipa, Colca Canyon and up to Lake Titicaca before reaching Cuzco, the Sacred Valley and, of course, Machu Picchu. Travelling within Peru was a mixture of flights, train and boat trips, and being driven.

Our trip was organised for us by Veloso Tours. They did a great job with the planning ahead of the trip, making the changes we requested, and providing detailed itineraries and supporting information. Once in Peru they provided a series of excellent and very knowledgeable guides to take us around the sights, and to help us with all our travel connections. The hotels they recommended were also very good. All these things taken together made an excellent and very memorable holiday for us both. We would certainly recommend Veloso to anyone considering visiting Peru.

We went to Belize and it was wonderful. The first week was spent in the rainforest the 2nd along the beaches of San Pedro. A real contrast

We took an individual tour holiday in Brazil. We flew direct to Rio de Janeiro for 3 days, then we flew down to Iguassu to see the brilliant waterfalls, then up to Manaus and then a four hour trip onto an Amazon lodger by the indigenous people for a 3 day stay, the high spot of the holiday for me. After all that we returned to Rio for a couple days chilling out. Everything worked like clockwork, amazing organisation, superb guides, lovely hotels, absolutely the best.

Knowledgeable, caring, skilled. They organised a brilliant schedule and provided us with superb guides, lovely hotels and every detail correct in every way. They even contacted us let us know that British Airways had a sale and they got us a deal on our flights. They are brilliant, amazing and I would recommend them without reservation.

We visited Easter Island and stayed at the Explora, which was all inclusive and also included trips. We then went to the Lake District for 2 nights then Chiloe for another 2 nights, staying at the excellent Tierra hotel where, again, all trips were included as well as all food and drink. In between each place we flew in and out of Santiago.

We wanted to go to Easter Island, the Lake District and Chiloe. Paulo at Veloso recommended the ideal length of time at each destination and great hotels. He also provided guides for each place, which included areas of interest and restaurants. We weren’t part of a tour group but the transfers worked smoothly.

Contacted Veloso to put together a trip that included meeting our relatives in Buenos Aires. Worked with the team at Veloso to tailor the holiday to meet our specific requirements. Tour was well organised and we saw the main cities but also areas of natural beauty.

Friendly and approachable. When we were looking at costings and ways to adjust the schedule they listened and provided objective advice to help with us making final decisions in terms of the itinerary.

A very well organised trip to Peru including Lake Titicaca, Cusco, Machu Picchu and the Galapagos. The tour guides were excellent. They were well informed, considerate and seemed to enjoy their work. They plan our trips around our capabilities. The yacht trip around the eastern islands of the Galapagos was well organised with plenty of activities, both on and in the water as well as the islands. Altogether a wonderful trip that will remain in the memory for ever.

Listened to our requirements, answered our questions, provided information and then produced an itinerary that worked. What more can one ask for?

Billed as an Aztec and Mayan cultural trip it offered so much more. As well as the fabulous historic sites, the scenery food and nature we encountered on the trip was second to none. Our guides were all superb and also gave us a good insight in to the culture and background of the countries we visited. Everything ran like clockwork. We even had what turned out to be a private plane on Tropic Air. Another great experience.

Excellent knowledge of the ares visited and very patient with the changes we made. Veloso helped us pick the mix of hotels we wanted for our budget and extremely helpful with our requests and sorting out flights because of various schedule changes. We are already planning our next trip with Veloso

A 14 day tour taking in all of the sights. A fantastic experience taking in the culture and geography. Eleven busy days with some very early starts but with three valuable ‘rest’ days. A reasonable level of fitness for walking and climbing was necessary due to the altitude to enjoy the experience

All three members of staff had been to Peru. We based the holiday on a set tour and then we altered it as we discussed our requirements. The itinerary meant we saw everything and the guides were fantastic. Times to meet were precise and drivers / guides were there waiting every morning , even at 5am
