Arranged by Diocese of Nottingham with Tangney. The pilgrimage programme was excellent with a balance between organised activities and time to do your own thing. Arrangements were great from initial booking, travel, transfer, hotel, meals and the return Journey. Advice and guidance from the a diocese and the Tangney guide really contributed greatly to the overall experience.

Booking system and ongoing communication was excellent. Telephone contact was clear and extremely helpful.

Morning Flight on return journey, very convenient for Travelling back to Southampton. Flights were on time, loading & unloading AP's were completed quickly & efficiently. Any issues with seating were dealt with effectively & resolved.

A week in Lourdes with the Catholic Association Pilgrimage as a member of the Stonyhurst group. Incredibly hard work and long hours looking after the assisted pilgrims, syncopated with beautiful services and activities, and interspersed with fun, social and inclusive events. The singular low point was the experience during departure at Birmingham Airport. Disorganised with no real sense of anyone being in control or understanding the needs of the Assisted Pilgrims. The individual who presented himself to load the APs onto the plane was incredibly rude, officious and quite unprofessional, and his loading team clearly had no experience in loading immobile passengers onto a plane. It took over 45 minutes to load the first AP onto the plane and then nearly two hours to complete loading, leading to an unnecessarily late arrival. Aside from this one episode, the week was filled with joy, laughter, prayer, and reflection.

Tangney Tours was very good throughout, although I would like to see a more robust attitude from the loading teams and the gate staff at Birmingham Airport on the way out—perhaps a loudhaler should be added to the packing list!

A pilgrimage with like minded people. Excellent itinerary. Good hotel. Meals variable. Excellent breakfast.
