I was a bit nervous getting to the airport independantly, as the bus left at 01.10am from bus garage. Got to the airport in plenty of time and soon met up with fellow pilgrims. The flight was on time and arrived in Toulouse in France, no trouble at all. The tour guide met us at arrival and guided us to the bus, his name was Paul. Strange how we had to leave via a different airport. The experience of Lourdes was amazing, I would have liked it if a day tour Nevers would have been included, to see the body of St. Bernadette. A second visit is definately on the cards as there is so much more for me to see.

The office staff were so friendly and polite when I rang to book. It seemed a long time after that the wheels came into motion and the trip seemed to come into focus. I felt a bit out on a limb in the beginning as I didn't know how I was going to get to the airport and I didn't know anyone to contact locally. My friend decided to accompany me a week later, which was great and you were able to accomodate her to share a room with me. We had a wonderful, packed 5 days in Lourdes.

We have been on 8 pilgrimages to Lourdes, each one gets better. Both my wife and I are in our high 80's and are wheelchair users. We enjoy staying at the Accueil Marie St Frai where we are well looked after.

Tangney Tours have been the tour operator for this pilgrimage for many years organising flights from Newcastle.

I have been to Lourdes with Tangney Tours over the last 20 years. They are wonderful company to go with and I would highly recommend them.

Tangney tours rep came round each day to ensure all was going well including meals. Informed us of the day's programme.

I went on pilgrimage with my diocese as a volunteer nurse. I met the most wonderful people, many of who will become life long friends. Lourdes was everything and more! Everyone there appeared happy, content and compassionate to one another, such a contrast to home. It was a life affirming trip with many changes made since coming home. I will certainly consider returning next year.

I booked through Tangney Tours as per the diocese documentation. Everything ran to plan as far I was aware. I didn't really have any contact with them whilst there, only for the tour of Lourdes which was just amazing!

The Pilgrimage was well organised. Travel was good. Hotel was poor. Small room, no air con. Food poor.

Transport was ok

Great spiritual holiday. Found everyone so friendly The hotel Eliseo was fine but the food was awful. I’m a vegetarian and I couldn’t eat the majority of the meals. The poor waiter did his best but he was obviously getting hassle from the kitchen. The restaurant manager however was extremely rude. I would not recommend this the because of the food

She visited the hotel every day to ask if we were all ok. Always very friendly and polite
