Speyside Way Trek

It was a lovely trek through Scotland. We stayed at some very nice B&Bs and country Inns. They had very good accommodations and their breakfasts were wonderful. It was 6 nights of lovely hosts!

They were very available to help us out at all moments, even the weekend! It was nice to know they were out there for us, we didn't need them except for a couple misunderstandings by the accommodation, they never have hosted trekkers and presented us with our bill. No big deal, taken care of with a quick phone call. And our luggage was not picked up and brought to our next destination, but again, a quick phone call and our luggage showed up within a half hour.

wonderful experience

It was my first time in the Highlands as well as on such a guided hiking tour. I normally go hiking with family and/or friends. Even so I enjoyed every bit of it and learned a lot about all kinds of things. Therefore I would certainly recommend it to everybody who loves the outdoors.

Outstanding trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the Great Glen Way. The people we met were very friendly, the scenery was spectacular and even the weather cooperated. Can't wait for our next trip with Wilderness Scotland.

Hiking the Outer Hebrides

This was a week long guided hiking tour of Skye and Harris with a small group of 7 people. It was fabulous! Our guide was a lovely person, very knowledgeable, and I always felt safe and well taken care of. The hikes were beautiful, just beautiful country, really special. The food was fabulous! And the good people of Scotland were so nice and friendly and welcoming. It was really a great trip - memories of a lifetime.

The Wilderness Scotland Knoydart hiking trip was an amazing experience.

This adventure vacation was the trip of a lifetime for us. The beauty of the Scottish Highlands was beyond words. We were taken to new heights and accomplished things we wouldn't have believed possible.

hikeing from coast to coast in Scotland

We flew into Glasgow, direct from Halifax Nova Scotia and quickly got onto the train to Fort William, 2 nights rest allowed us to recover from jetlag, stroll over Cow Hill and prep our selves for the departure the next day. We had our bags ready daily for each pickup by 9:30 at which time we departed on foot with lunches and our own day packs. We had our bags ready daily for each pickup by 9:30 at which time we departed on foot with lunches and our own day packs. Each day provided with outstanding sights, smells and sounds of ever-changing terrain and vistas of the trip. Wearily at the end of the day we grabbed a beer at a nearby pub, had supper and crashed to start it all again. The guide for gear and clothing prepped us well for what to expect. We were well hosted by our B and B hosts (except ofr one) and received much info about whwre to eat and relax. It was a tremendous expeience for us.

Fantastic trip, good guide, excellent food and superb format.

Remote, wild, beautiful countryside. Great hiking and use of the boat to get to remoter islands was excellent.
