This was a trip of a lifetime. I have always wanted to go to Graceland and as this was a ‘Special’ birthday we decided to go all out and make it a trip to remember. We started off flying First Class to New Orleans, the Hotel chosen for us was lovely and we received a free cocktail at the Carousel Bar to celebrate my birthday. We stayed there for 4 nights and did lots of exploring around New Orleans. We then hired a car and drove to Tupelo, where we stayed for 2 nights, another great Hotel. Visiting Elvis’ birth place was a very emotional experience and very worthwhile. I think one night here would have been sufficient in retrospect but we didn’t know that at the time. From there, we drove to Memphis to stay at the Guesthouse at Graceland, where we stayed for 3 nights. We booked the TCB Suite which was incredible. Very big and comfortable. The next day on my birthday we went to Graceland, I booked the UVIP tour which was well worth the price to be able to see places and go into the archives which other tours can’t see. I cried (a lot) at Graceland and I felt Elvis’ spirit everywhere. I spent some time at his grave with my own thoughts on my own (my husband respectfully left me to just stand and think about Elvis. He took photo’s of me as I was all alone at his grave). The following day we went to Sun Studios (an absolute must on this trip) and then we walked down Beale Street and had the best Banana milkshake I have ever tasted! After saying goodbye to Elvis and Memphis we then flew to New York for 4 nights. Another great Hotel was chosen for us right in the heart of Manhattan and an easy commute to see all the usual attractions. The Hotel kindly sent a lovely bottle of wine to our room on the first night and wished me a happy birthday. We visited everything! Sadly, the day we went to the Empire State Building it was thick fog and we couldn’t see anything. We were offered the opportunity of changing the day but our schedule was so packed we couldn’t fit it in, so just stayed with the original booking (I need to go back to experience it fully). The Ground Zero experience was very emotional but well worth the visit. We even managed to negotiate trips on the Underground! Having seen everything we could on our 4 day trip we then flew Business Class back home. What an incredible trip, this is one I will never, ever forget. It was organised impeccably from start to finish by my local Travel Agent Garstang Travel and Cruise Shop and Vacations America. I cannot thank them both enough for their support, and wonderful organisation on our behalf. They even provided us with our own holiday booklet with an itinerary of each individual place and useful information before our departure, to help us plan our trip. We found this to be extremely useful. December 2024 will live in my memory and heart forever! ❤️

Excellent service from start to finish.

We travelled throughout Florida including MIami, Fort Lauderdale,Naples,Key Largo and Key West. Fabulous scenery, accommodation and plenty of things to do and see in vibrant centres. No issues at all as usual when checking in to new lodgings. A truly memorable time.

We have used Vacations To America for a number of years and we would definitely not use any other tour operator. Faultless in all respects.

Road trip starting in Denver. Visited Rapid City ( Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Badlands. Moved on to Sheridan via Devils Monument and Deadwood before visiting Little Bighorn. Then moved on to Yellowstone. Brilliant scenery. Grant Village accommodation and particularly the restaurants were disappointing. Then moved on to The Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole. Very classy place. Saw Elk, Moose…… Great! Then moved on to Moab to see Arches NP, Canyonlands. Superb! Then had short overnight stop at Glenwood Springs. Hotels were excellent mainly. (Best Western in Sheridan was a little tired but location was good). We travelled just over 3000 miles in 3weeks. Even a slightly worse for wear Chevy Malibu from Hertz survived the trip. ( I’ve only had cars from Hertz twice and on both occasions they’ve not been in pristine condition -this one had done 50k hard miles)

Excellent trip with enough time to see the sights. Hotels in the main were very good. Any changes to itinerary were accommodated. Flights were also good.

Only booked a villa with Vacations to America after being recommended, it saved a lot of stress wondering what we were going to get after seeing horror stories of people turning up to awful villas, but all the photos and video I received prior to our visit were spot on, apart from one twin room being turned into a double bedroom, which was soon over come by putting the two small children in the double bed. Our Villa on Emerald Island Resort was fantastic! Its an amazing resort so family orientated and very relaxing, It had everything we needed, it was very spacious for the 7 of us and we all enjoyed our stay there. I am already weighing up returning there in the next two years and will definitely book though Vacations to America again!

The whole team kept in contact throughout the run up to our vacation and all the codes were sent to us in time for us to travel.

Fantastic family holiday to Florida. It was well organised except our 14 day Disney tickets were set to begin on the day we travelled. We didn’t arrive to our hotel until 9pm (1am uk time) so the first day of the 14 day Disney ticket was wasted. It’s a lot of money to lose! The first day of the theme park tickets should not have been set to travel day as with young children, we were never going to a park after a 10 hour flight. We were on an 18 day holiday so this caused a problem and was disappointing.

Information was good. Only problem was the Disney 14 day park ticket start date mentioned previously.

New England driving holiday from Shenandoah NP in Virginia to Arcadia NP in Maine, via Niagara Falls & across Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachussets ending in Boston, including day trips to Newport Rhode Island & Cape Cod. I prepared the outline of the 3 week holiday and Vacations to America sorted the flights, Heathrow to Dulles, Logan to Heathrow, the car hire & the hotel accommodation to suit the itinery.

As above an itinery was prepared for them to quote & bulk out the itinery. A budget was given & the all inclusive quote was not exceeded. Basically all the costs were included in the quote & where they could not include the cost, these were known about & detailed (e.g. car hire drop off 1 way charge)

A fried recommended Vacations to America to help plan and book our bespoke holiday to Nashville, Memphis & New Orleans, along with a seven night trip down the Mississippi on the American Queen. It was a trip of a lifetime from which we return with so many wonderful memories of the music cities, that fabulous paddle steamer, the Grand OleOprey, Graceland, the French Quarter....the list is endless.

Thoroughly professional, knowledgeable with an inside knowledge of the cities to ensuire the best located hotels. Planning and attention to detail was meticulous, communications outstanding and all in all, we coule not have asked for more

Our holiday for my husband, older daughter and myself was a road trip round the New England states. We knew where we wanted to go and the travel company made the arrangements. We flew from Scotland to Boston, spent time in Boston, collected a hire car and stayed for 3 nights in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

We had made a similar trip to New England using Vacations to America before so we were happy to use them again. Kerry Sheppard who planned and arranged our vacation was superb and understood exactly what we wanted. She was happy to make suggestions and to work with us to customise our trip. We booked quite late for the Fall which is always a popular time and prices inflated but she was able to keep to our budget by ‘shopping around’ We were kept updated during the process and the maps, directions and information booklet was excellent. Very happy with the service from Vacations to America and would happily recommend the company.

We had a fabulous 5week trip and used Vactions to America to book our accommodation and plan a route for us to fullfill our wishes. We loved NewEngland in the Fall 🍁

From the start they listened to what we were looking for on our 5 week trip and provide an amazing tailor made booklet for us to take with us, listing all our hotels and Inn’s booked along with things to do in each city and small towns, this was on unexpected gem. Everything went very smoothly on arrival at our13 accommodations and even during our trip when unexpected changes needed to be made Julia (the agent with VA ) spoke to the accommodation and Kerry emailed to keep us up to speed. Out of the13 accommodations 11 were equal to or better than expected, however 2 did not offer the services expected by this we mean unavailable pool/restaurant/bar. We understand that this is difficult to get of ahead of but some kind of feedback facility mid trip would have be beneficial.

We spent 19 nights in New England, staying in 7 different Inns/Hotels. We had a hire car and drove over 2000 miles and went through 6 New England states, starting and finishing in Boston.
