After missing a number of pilgrimages and with Covid still in the back ground i felt the pilgrimage was very well organised. The flight and staff were great, as were the coach drivers on both journeys. The hotel facilities were ideal for the pilgrimages needs.

Tangey were regularly present and appeared to respond to queries very quickly - they joined the pilgrimage on several occasions during mass and social events and it was nice to see them chatting and getting involved.

The worst part about it was no information being provided about where to go for the buses after the Passion play had concluded. Other pilgrims were not sure where to go, and I just followed them! We should have all been met by the guide outside at a designated place with a prominent sign being held high by the guide. I thought it was poor and a lady on walking sticks said she was in a bit of a panic. i think she was on her own and of course it was dark when the Passion play finished

An annual Pilgrimage to Lourdes

Known to me over many years & always reliable, helpful, efficient, etc.

Not a holiday but a pilgrimage. Great year this year, the weather helped. And a smaller group felt much more intimate and more fulfilling. Flights were the closest to being on time in a very long time of travelling to Lourdes. The delay in the outbound flight caused by the airport not Tangney’s. The only disappointment wrt travel was the lack of thought re provisions on the flight. With such an early start and chaos at the airport most passengers hadn’t had a drink or breakfast. With the delay and the time difference elderly and sick where eating for the first time that day at 3/4pm. Not good!! Booking details stated a snack but a very small glass of water and a very small glass of soft drink (no tea or coffee!! Don’t they know we are British pilgrims and tea is essential?!) doesn’t qualify. Same with the return flight. Had it not been raised during the IC meeting we would have had the same issue in the return flight. Instead we were at least able to forewarn pilgrims to pack a snack. The hotel was as good as always, friendly, clean and well appointed. The food this year was not as good as usual. A lot of pork or veal, no chicken options and the vegetarian alternatives had not been thought through- I think the kitchen and waiting staff were all new and we were some of the first big groups in so they are not used to it yet but I think they need to have a rethink on the menus.

It was a wonderful opportunity to spend time in the Domain in Lourdes, visit the Grotto, take part in beautiful Masses, services and social events and most importantly, to help others to do the same and feel special, valued and cared for and to thoroughly enjoy their pilgrimage to Lourdes.

Very good service at Airport for transfer to Hotel. Agent use to visit us in hotel and always gave us informationed required for us. Looked after us very well.

It was a Religious pilgrimage to Lourdes with the Middlesbrough Diocese. . Coming from Cheshire I needed to stay at the Premier Inn Darlington Morton Park the night before , in order to be in time for the early morning flight ( perhaps infirm or poorly patients might have found a 5 am booking in time a challenge ) .The trip lasted 5 days / 4 nights . All the services and connections were well managed and went smoothly . A rep called each evening to the hotel and was always available if there had been any problem to sort out ( for me there were no such problems ) . I felt totally confident that Tangney Tours had everything in hand and covered . The trip went without a hitch , weather was good and I can’t wait for next year !
