A brilliant pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
Much of the pilgrimage was actually planned by the Priest in charge and his assistants. They specified the locations and the hotels. However, the local tour operator who provided the guide and drivers was excellent. The guide was really superb, and the driver who accompanied us also was extremely good.

The one sour point (not for me personally) was caused by the fact that unavoidable illness meant that three members of our group joined late, and so did not catch the BA flight from London to Tel Aviv. Their return tickets were therefore cancelled, and they not only had the expense of making their own way to join us, but also had to make their own arrangements to return. This is in spite of having told Tangney Tours in advance that this would be the case. It is not certain what, if any refund will be given. This is sharp practice, and indefensible.

Thank you for your response. The passengers in question had checked in for their flights, and then simply advised us they were not travelling, but they would like their return flights held for them. Unfortunately as they had checked in, British Airways has a policy that if a passenger does not take the outbound flight, the return is automatically cancelled. There is nothing that can be done about this. This was advised to the passengers. We are sorry that this happened, however it was beyond our control! We would advise the passengers contact us for further assistance and suggest they make a claim on their travel insurance.

Poor distribution of daily information. Other hotels had a system to inform pilgrims about updates and meeting points which I did not receive, making it stressful.

Word of mouth only to know of certain facts. They relied on previous experiences to maintain knowledge of daily events. Many from other hotels in the Tangney group were given personal information from a representative of tangney. Tours. I was in a hotel with little known details and a form apparently in the foyer by a lift! For updates.

Everything I could of hoped
This was my first trip to Lourdes and I had the best time! I went with Mac’s group and they were so accommodating!! I felt like it was a big family that I was definitely apart of!

Holy Land Pilgrimage for 30 people.
10 days in Israel visiting most of the important religious sites plus a day in Acre and Caesarea. We had 5 days based in Tiberias and 5 days in Jerusalem.

Apart from the morning of outward travel when the representative of Tangney Tours at Heathrow disappeared and could not be found, all went well. The guide we had in Israel was excellent and the bus was very comfortable. The hotels in Tiberias and Jerusalem were both comfortable and well located.

Guide Graham was extremely knowledgeable of the area dates and events. Graham was a very pleasant gentleman, polite and courteous at all times, which helped to make our experience of Lewis. All the better.

Beautiful Pilgrimage
We had such a lovely time in Lourdes, not only with learners from the school where I work but also members of my family. This is the first time coming back to Lourdes since Covid and it was just brilliant!

Very good service, answered all questions and was on hand to help wherever they were needed
