This was a trip of a lifetime for us and our last holiday as a family so we wanted it to be memorable and special. We were not disappointed. We had a a fantastic safari experience and then headed off to Mauritius for a relaxing time.

From my first phone call Safari Consultants were professional and easy to deal with. They listened to what I wanted, advised and guided my choices and I never felt anything other than a valued customer. I would certainly use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Self drive holiday round Namibia, Windhoek, Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Twyfelfontain, the mountains (Etendeka) Ongava/Etosha. Diverse and beautiful landscapes, mixed with great wildlife, an insight into life in Namibia and the harshness of desert life for both man and animal. Highlights included a visit to Sandwich Bay and driving back across the sand-dunes, walking up Dune 45 tand the amazing and beautiful wildlife experiences in Ongava and Etosha.

We have booked with Safari Consultants a few times and never hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. They have always given us informed advice, solid insight and informtion on the countries we have visited. Wherever we have travelled in Africa with them, we have set off knowing we have all the information we needed to travel safe and that arrangements will all be as stated/anticipated or in fact far better.

Three different lodges in Zambia, each providing an excellent experience. Travel arrangements all went well and were designed to maximize time spent on safari.

All the travelling worked like clockwork. Everything in place as required. Very professional with all necessary information provided.

Safari Consultants (Mary Grimwood) put together an excellent itinerary after listening to our 'wish list'. All the connections and transfers were excellent and the accommodation throughout was exactly what we had requested. The holiday was a bit of an adventure, occasionally pushing our boundaries to experience that real safari and Africa experience but it was definitely worth it.

very knowledgeable about the area, and gave sound advice on locations and what to expect. Good relationships with the camp staff including an understanding of the quality of the camp safari guides, equipment and philosophy.

Safari at Kicheche Bush Camp, Mara North Conservancy. Excellent safari experience, long game drives, with the emphasis very much on tracking the animals and observing them and the guides imparting their knowledge of the animals and surrounding environment. All the staff at camp top notch, from the lovely askari, and Mr Shower Man, right up to the temporary camp hostess. Safari tents not new, but very comfy and warm beds, with very hot showers! Food delicious, varied, and plentiful, with drinks if required. This is not a relaxing holiday (awake at 5.15 to start at 6am, back just in time for lunch, then 2 hours maximum to relax before afternoon game drive, which arrives back just in time to shower and dinner, then sleep!) However, all the staff do their best to make sure their guests have an experience which is totally unique and memorable. Well done Kicheche!

This is our third trip with Safari Consultants, and their high standards of customer care are exemplory. If you email with a one-line question, you will get a page back in a very short space of time. On this occasion, I was to travel with my leg in a surgical boot, and without having to ask, Mary organised wheelchair assistance at LHR, and also booked the tent nearest to the dining tent at Kicheche for me. They keep in touch with you, and send documents and information promptly, so you can be confident that everything will run to plan, both in the UK and also on arriving in Africa. Transfers ran smoothly and we felt looked after all the time. Well done Safari Consultants, and keep up the amazing standards you have set!

Superb. Third consecutive visit to Naboisho Camp which we enjoyed has much as the others.

Everything worked perfectly, all flights, hotels and transfers went perfectly.

We had a well planned trip that went without hitch, up to the usual standard of Rob and the team. All the accommodations were of an excellent standard and appropriate to our needs. Travel information and timings were spot on - making for a leisurely, stress free holiday.

Safari consultants have organised a number of trips for us over the years and we would not consider going to Africa with anyone else. We especially appreciate their sensitivity to our needs and our budget. We regularly recommend them highly to fellow travellers an acquaintances.
