The holiday was to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We stayed 3 nights at The River Farmhouse at Waterberry Lodge which was brilliant with a breath-taking view of the Zambeze River. Whilst there we visited the Zimababwe side of the Victoria Falls and experienced the exhilarating Devils Pool. We then went on to Botswana to the Muchenje Safari Lodge in Chobe for 4 nights.. Again, absolutely superb. We saw all the wonderful animals, had amazing adventures on the safaris (day time, night time, early morning, walking, cruises - each one gave us a different experience with a huge variety of wildlife), enjoyed the cultural side particularly in Zambia. Everyone was very friendly and looked after us extremely well. The facilities, the staff and locations of the lodges were fantastic. The food was excellent (the lodges catered for all dietary requirements). The whole trip was impeccably organised. We didn't have to worry about anything. Everyone ensured that we enjoyed our holiday and helped us celebrate our anniversary in style! Would absolutely definitely recommend these locations and Safari Consultants who arranged the best holiday that we have ever had!

Safari Consultants tailored everything to our budget and ensured we got the best value for money. Their recommendations for lodges, locations and activities were exactly what we wanted. The information they gave to help us prepare for our trip was excellent. Their organisation of the travel arrangements was perfect, ensuring that as soon as we got off the plane to the time we got on a plane to come home, there was always someone to look after us, guide us and ensure our security and most importantly our enjoyment. Their knowledge, experience and professionalism is outstanding. We would definitely recommend Safari Consultants and hope to be able to book another adventure with them again some time in the future.

We stayed in 4 very different areas (Sossusvlei, Skeleton Coast, mountainous Damaraland and Etosha National Park), we really enjoyed all of the different activities we were able to experience and loved the luxury accommodation that Kelly from Safari Consultants arranged for us. Namibia is a stunning country and we're so happy that we were able to visit and explore the different aspects.

We've just returned from a fabulous trip to Namibia organised by Kelly Mattin from Safari Consultants. Kelly was really helpful throughout - making sure she fully understood our requirements, coming up with great recommendations on which places to stay, pulling everything together brilliantly, and answering all of our questions in the lead-up to the trip. Everything on the trip was so well organised - the internal flights were all smooth and to schedule, the transfers between each lodge went like clockwork and we were incredibly well looked after throughout the whole trip. We will definitely use Kelly and Safari Consultants for our future trips to Africa.

This was our 4th trip to Africa andit definitely was the best. We have never seen better animal viewing including 6 seperate sightings of wild dogs. The accomodations were first rate throughout the tripn as were the transfers between different camps and countries.

this was a challenging trip because we wanted to go to Mala ala, Capetown and then Zambia. Our tour operator orchestrated the compex flight arrangements to our great satisfaction.

A fantastic bespoke safari trip arranged for us by Safari Consultants. Frances was very informative and really listened to what we hoped to experience from the trip and delivered it for us. The logistics were stress free for us and everything went smoothly throughout. We saw an incredible amount of wildlife, way beyond our expectations, stayed in three beautiful camps, where the guides all had incredible knowledge of the flora and fauna that we encountered. Very knowledgeable and informative but also really listened to what we hoped to achieve and experience on our holiday. We felt we were able to trust Frances to make the right choices for us. Lovely manner and extremely efficient in all respects. Couldn't have been easier for us and the trip went like clockwork.

First time safari trip. Amazing game viewing in Kenya, Mara North. Fantastic tented accommodation and knowledgeable guides. Victoria Falls was as spectacular as we anticipated. Botswana and the Moremi Game reserve were beautiful with some great game viewing too.

From beginning to end this was the best holiday we could have ever asked for. Our honeymoon to South Africa and Mauritius was an unforgettable experience filled with luxury and adventure. Starting in South Africa, we were whisked away to Madikwe National Park via a short flight from a Luxury hangar after a comfortable stay at a Johannesburg airport hotel. Our accommodation at Etali safari lodge exceeded all expectations, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to make our honeymoon extra special. The lodge's picturesque setting overlooking an active watering hole provided the perfect backdrop for our meals, and the game viewing on the reserve was truly exceptional. We indulged in relaxing spa treatments and workouts at the onsite gym, and the option to enjoy seven meals a day ensured we were always well-fed and satisfied. After seven incredible days in South Africa, we jetted off to Mauritius, where we were greeted by the stunning Lux le Morne resort. This slice of paradise offered impeccable service, delectable cuisine, and a range of water activities that added an extra layer of excitement to our honeymoon. The staff at Lux le Morne went out of their way to make us feel special, and the added touches for our honeymoon made our stay even more memorable. Swimming with wild dolphins and encountering two humpback whales were once-in-a-lifetime experiences that we will cherish forever.

After being disappointed by other tour operators who only offered pre-packaged tours, I reached out to Safari Consultants. Joe, the person in charge of organising our holiday, truly listened to our preferences and crafted the perfect itinerary for us. He not only included everything we wanted but also considered aspects we had not even thought of. The options for travel, accommodations, and game reserves were diverse, and Joe provided detailed explanations on how each option differed. The level of personalisation and attention to detail was truly amazing. I'm assuming by this question, you mean Safari Consultants who worked with our party of 4 from the moment we started to think about doing safari. I highly recommend this group. They designed a trip that met all our needs. All details were worked out so that we never worried about a thing. All questions before our trip were answered so we felt well-prepared. Staff associated with them were highly professional and available. I've come home with memories that will last a life-time!!!!! Very grateful for the experience.

We had the most incredible stay at Umkumbe, and have made memories to last a lifetime. All the guides and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, and everyone was so warm and friendly. The lodge itself is so homely, the food delicious and plentiful, and it was all perfect for the setting. A home away from home in an African wilderness. Looking out over the river was magical and seeing animals visit daily was a highlight we’ll remember forever! Our guide Ty was so knowledgeable, accommodating and brilliant, and it defies belief how our tracker Forget and Ty were able to spot the animals using the tracks, sounds of the wildlife, and pure instinct built on years of experience to guide them. The pure joy on Forget and Ty’s faces when they spotted something to share with us will stay with us forever! We were lucky enough to see leopard cubs, rhino, elephant, giraffe, hyena, wild dogs and even a pangolin which had everyone in camp very excited as it’s a rare treat! The animals were never surrounded and the guides went out of their way to put the animals experience at the forefront of everything, which in turn must be what allows for the animals to feel so relaxed and natural in the presence of vehicles. An incredible trip with memories that will last a lifetime!

We found Safari Consultants through a referral from an African conservation charity, so we knew we were in the hands of an operator who cared about the impact on the environment and local community. From first point of contact, through to the last minute questions, through to helping to resolve any issues whilst away, Mary and the whole team have been incredibly supportive in making sure we got the holiday of a lifetime - nothing was too much effort! The camp we stayed in was exceptional, the wildlife incredible, and the guides really knew their stuff. You could tell that the in-person visits made by Mary and the team made a real difference, as they were able to answer questions knowledgeably and provide advice based on real experience. We cannot thank Safari Consultants enough for going over and above to support, both with queries when we were in the UK and in Africa, and for ultimately helping us to have the holiday of a lifetime, thank you!

We stayed in 3 bush camps one in Laikipia and 2 in the Maasai Mara. We had excellent guides in all 3 places who opened our eyes not only to the beauty of the country but also the lives and needs of the animal who inhabit it and the efforts being taken to conserve the whole ecosystem. The camps we very comfortable and welcoming and the food excellent.

Safari Consultants couldn't have done more to make our trip the brilliant success that it was. They looked after every detail with care and precision and they always responded quickly and positively to any enquiry that we made. Added to which they were all very nice!

This was out third trip organised by Safari Consultants. We spent some time in Cape Town before moving on to the winelands and the wonderful town of Franschhoek. We then flew to Hoedspruit and transferred to the fabulous Thabamati safari camp. As always, a memorable holiday seamlessly organised.

Not sure how long they have been around but we first used their services in the 90's. They are experts in all things Africa (and I believe the surrounding area). They are always easy to talk to, give great advice and nothing ever seems to phase them. If you planning a trip to pretty much anywhere in Africa, talk to Safari Consultants, they're the best.
