A Perfect Dellght
I saw new birds and animals, many endemic; I enjoyed wonderful scenery and experienced Ethiopian life. Our guide was the best ever and was so considerate and helpful, especially to this elderly lady. I spwet two nights ina tree house, thanks to the guide's help. Our local guides were also outstanding.

At the age of 86 I have travelled in over 100 countries and with many different travel companies.. NatureTrek can compete with any of them and excel many of them.

A fantastic holiday allowing us to see the very best of Costa Rica's nature
The trip was very well organised, we had an excellent guide who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had the most amazing experience, seeing 0ver 360 species of birds as well as many more aspects of the natural environment. The holiday has spoiled us for any future trips.

Nature Trek have provided a large and varied range of small group nature based holidays for many years. They provide expert naturalists to lead the activities and offer a good standard accommodation and transport. We have used Nature trek a number of times in recent years and find them a most reliable Tour Operator providing exactly what we look for.

Excellent. Each day was full of activity from morning to evening, sometimes late at night (to see Kiwis).

Brilliant Holiday
We flew to Addis Ababa and with a local guide and his driver visited a number of locations looking at wildlife, mainly birds and mammals but also butterflies, moths, dragonflies and other creatures. We stayed in three different hotels and two lodges. We also visited a local village to see cotton weaving which was the only disappointing part of the holiday, plus a fish market for an experience, not to eat or taste and a local fish restaurant ...

Brilliant 2 week tour of the Galapagos
Flew to Quito, then after a days rest flew to Bara island and began our tour. Highlights were the wonderful wide life and amazing scenery. Each day we visited different islands or a different part of one of the larger islands. It was amazing to be able to get up close to so much of the wildlife. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, patient and a good planner. He ensured we got the most out of our 2 weeks. We also had some great snorkelling days...

We also had some great snorkelling days. swimming with an abundance of fish, reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, rays, sea lions, penguins, flightless cormorants and many many turtles and lots of other marine life. An experience I will never forget.

Luxury amid wilderness
South Luangwa National Park takes some reaching, with three flights in planes of diminishing size from Heathrow to Mfuwe. But Kafunta River Lodge is like an oasis upon arrival. The discrete and kindly staff made our small group very welcome. Our guide was an affable and professional fellow who was at pains to teach us how to recognise all manner of birds (with mixed success). One member of the group wanted to see an aardvark (we didn't), and two were keen to see wild dogs. These were encountered five times. Another was a tortoise owner, delighted to see one in wild. There were leapards and lions and giraffe and elephants enough to take thousands of pictures - my own hobby, What with a Christmas carol service under a giant mango tree with a local choir on Christmas Eve and champagne on the terrace back at the lodge on Christmas Day this trip was a rare treat and and wonderfully memorable holiday.

Naturetrek could never be accused of being cheap (as the cost of these holidays is legendary) but when you want guaranteed quality this is where to book every time.
