A most interesting experience combining the delights of the Salzburg with that of Oberammergau town and it's famous theatre performances. The distances between the the two venues weren't great so not too much time was spent travelling.

I have been on several holidays/pilgrimages with McCabes and consistently offer a friendly, professional service. You don't feel you are rushed or regimented into being at certain places at certain times. May it continue!!

It was a thoughtfully programmed holiday with lovely accomodation, food and company. Oberammergue Passion play was an amazing experience and one to tick off the bucket list.

Mc Cabe did a good job, from time we first booked in 2019 for the 2020 Play and they joined us up with a nice group, through the 2 year delay, and until we reached Heathrow safely on 19.8.22

We travelled to Austria for the Passion Play at Oberammergau. As always with McCabe tours, everything went very smoothly. The daily programme was full but not tiring and there were plenty of options to choose from. The Tyrolean scenery was stunning and the Passion Play was a powerful experience that will stay with me forever. Best of all, I made some new friends and our group have set up a WhatsApp page. Overall, an amazing week.

Informative and helpful.

Four days in an excellent hotel in Austria (The Tyrol), centrally located. Good centre for getting up into mountains as well as local transport to visit towns in the area. Good mix of free time and organised activities (walking and seeing local churches) as well as a day in Salzburg with guided tour included. Two days in Oberammergau to see the Passion Play. Again, central location of hotel and guided tour of village as well as the main focus - the Passion Play, with very good seats.

Tour operator provided the documentation and arranged flights accommodation and Play documents. Local guides were excellent and all arrangements worked efficiently.

A week of relaxed time in Austria and including a pilgrimage to the Oberammergau Passion Play.

McCabe Pilgrimages - provided a well planned and excellently delivered experience. Felt very personalised and everyone we dealt with was very helpful.

Superb location in Achenkirch in the Austrian Tyrol with overnight stay in Oberammergau to see the Passion play. Excellent accommodation, fascinating group tours, very well organised with free time to explore the area.

We have done a number of tours with McCabe Pilgrimages and find them to be well organised with good communication and great attention to detail. Tour leaders and local guides are always of a very high standard. Any concerns or queries are always addressed promptly.
