The itinerary promised a pilgrimage including some wonderful opportunities, like prayer in private chapels. In addition the programme was packed with all the best things to see in Vienna. The reality was a holiday where the local guide had a different programme to us, and the resulting holiday while including some of the wonderful sights did not meet expectations and had a difficult atmosphere throughout

Tour operator appeared to do nothing to sort the problems during the holiday. Need to employ sympathetic and efficient guides for such pilgrimages.

McCabe's 'The Trail of the Holy Family' gave us a fortnight's tour of virtually the whole of Egypt - apart from the coast and desert areas - from Cairo, up the Nile, partly by boat, to within sight of the Sudanese border, and also an add-on to Mount Sinai and St Catherine's Monastery.

This was our fourth trip on a McCabe's Pilgrimage. We have always found that they plan everything meticulously and have felt safe and well looked after. We are also provided with good accommodation and excellent guides. A lot is fitted in and we feel we have enriched our faith and seen many sites of cultural interest.

It was a trip to Iona we lost a day in Iona because of a ferry problem. Also a problem on the journey back to Glasgow.

I was disappointed in the experience after previous travel with McCabe.

Most of the holiday involved visits to sites linked to Christianity, the Nabateans and the Roman Empire

McCabe do their research to ensure that everything is covered and it is always safe to travel They chose locations and hotels with great care

4days in Rome including Papal audience & visit to English college for clergy.4 days in Assisi where Basilica was amazing & Sanctuary of La Verna a wonderful moving experience.

Have used McCabe before,they look after you from arrival at airport onwards.Can’t fault them.

An 8 day 7 night trip to Jerusalem and Galilee full board and including a full itinerary of visits and sightseeing. A truly amazing experience expertly organised with excellent leader, guide and driver.

McCabe pilgramages are a very experienced operator that takes care of you from departure until your return to the uk. They booked amazing experiences throughout our tour and I could not fault them.

From Galilee to Jerusalem this trip was a fascinating blend of history, geography, theology with a sensitive exploration of the political, cultural and spiritual tensions.

Brilliant communication and support from start to finish.

Opera, wine and visiting fascinating towns with excellent local guides.

Spiritual input which is unusual, but much appreciated by all group.
