Hotel Bad Hochmoos near Lofer, Austria, and Oberammergau for the Passion Play

Meticulous attention to practical details and input of highest quality

The group Leader was outstanding. Mc Cabe staff on the ground were excellent. Busy action packed but a great holiday.

Excellent

This was 2 centre holiday with 5 nights in the Austrian Tyrol and 2 nights in Oberammergau. The whole trip was exceptionally well organised right down to the smallest detail, which made it stress free and a wonderful experience. It was everything we had hoped for and more.

Every aspect of the trip was superb, from the ease of booking, the availability of reps at airports and destinations, and the quality of the group leader, to the organisation of activities each day. Nothing was too much trouble. First class all round.

This was a holiday of a lifetime to the Oberammergau Passion Play. Two years later than planned but definitely worth the wait. Maria Alm is a beautiful Austrian village where we stayed in the excellent family run Hotel Eder. Included days out to the Jakobsweg and Salzburg were great. The last 2 days we stayed in Oberammergau with beautifully painted buildings, wood carving workshops. The Passion Play was the pinnacle of the week, a unique experience which will stay long in the memory.

McCabe took care of us all the way. From first booking through the delay caused by Covid and on the holiday itself we were kept informed and looked after. They had representatives, tour guides and a tour leader all the way from check in at Heathrow to check in back at Munich to guide and help us all the way.

The best thing I could have done following the death of my husband. I was helped whenever I needed it and the support and friendship shown by fellow travellers was amazing. Information given by McCabe was excellent and helpful

Their standard of service was very high and information given prior to visit was best I've ever had and at 86yrs old I needed it!

Always gives a first class holiday

A Mc Cabe pilgrimmage tour to the Oberammergau Passion Play and the Austrian Tyrol commencing at LHR -Munich and coach to Arzl in Austria. A full guided programme with adequate free time was programmed and included and excursion to an Alpine ski resort via cable car; a walking tour around Arzl and environs; a day trip to Innsbruck with a guided walking tour of the old town, and a visit o the Stim Monastery and Basilica. A 24 hour overnight trip to Oberammergau and the Passion Play with half a day to explore the town and local area. Return to Arzl, one complete free day with local tourist/travel pass included, followed by coach to Munich and fly to LHR.

Mc Cabe are clearly very experienced in this pilgrimage holiday area with wide network of high quality staff deployed to facilitate negotiating airports and ticketless flight arrangements. Their tour buses, drivers and tour guides are high calibre individuals well suited to dealing with their clientele: courteous, charming, informative; obliging. Tour guides are obviously well trained in looking after their guests in terms of information, facilitating checking in and out, tour information and programming, and coping with medical emergencies.

Waited nearly three years, was well worth the wait. Extremely well organised by McCabe Pilgrimages. The location of the hotels was first rate.

Very professional, excellent service, nothing was too much trouble from booking to arriving back in the UK.

We went as part of a group and the leader was the minister of our church. We spent 5 days in Austria at an excellent hotel (Eder) and visited some beautiful places, and the last two days in Oberammergau for the Passion Play which was a wonderful experience. Everything was extremely well organised by McCabe, down to the last detail, and it is a holiday we will remember for a long time.

McCabe have a very good reputation which is certainly deserved. The holiday was extremely well organised, nothing was too much trouble, and the information they sent out beforehand was extremely comprehensive.
