Private trip to Cuba organized by Journey Latin America

Poor accommodation and poor response to our complaints

Our adventure enabled us to be join in one of Chile's vibrant cities during their summer time plus a wonderful experience to be next to penguins, seals, birds and other wildlife in their natural habitats on the Falkland Islands. To round off we returned to Puerto Natales after the Falklands to stay at the remarkable Singular hotel Patagonia for a tour of the National Park and the stunning Torres del Paine. At the hotel we could also enjoy their relaxing pool and spa facilities plus excellent dining and drinking in their restaurant and bar.

Journey Latin America were able to tailor make a full itinery to deliver all that we wanted from our long planned lifetime adventure to South America and the Falklands. The resulting package made for a wonderful experience and they would readily help with any queries or questions we may have had. The dedicated travel app was also most helpful with itinery details and maps. The hotels were of a high standard and we were also able to benefit from good air fare deals available at the time.

We set ourselves the objective to visit Peru and Galapagos to learn of the Inca/Conquistador history and appreciate the unique world of the Galapagos islands. We were not disappointed and highly rate the professionalism of Journey Latin America in making this trip an unforgettable experience.

We travelled through Argentina and Chile for a month, seeing some incredible sights such as Iguazú Falls, Atacama Desert, Torres del Paine, and Tierra del Fuego. Every day contained a new exciting experience which surpassed out expectations. All the travel arrangements worked seamlessly, and the guides in all cases were excellent, they couldn't be faulted. With one exception we stayed in first rate hotels. An unforgettable holiday.

JLA were extremely professional, and helpful at every stage of the process, and responded promptly to query emails even during our trip. I cannot rate them highly enough.

A group tour (14 people) to Patagonia

Thorough, knowledgeable and extremely helpful at all stages of the process from booking to completion. The guide they provided was outstanding.

JLA staff in London were helpful and efficient, tour literature was extensive and good. The choice of places visited and hotel locations were thoughtful and enjoyable. The Tour Leader and local guides were all first-class.

We used Journey Latin America to help shape the honeymoon of a lifetime in beautiful Costa Rica. From ziplines beside a volcano in Arenal, discovering different animals in tropical Manuel Antonio, staying on a farm near Poas Volcano, soaking up the sun at boho surf chic Tamarindo and walking across hanging bridges in the Monteverde cloud forest... This was a fortnight of fun we will never forget.

Very knowledgeable and very helpful, we highly recommend Journey Latin America to anyone wanting to explore and relax in beautiful Costa Rica. They helped us shape the perfect stay, fitting in our ideal locations, booking some adventures and advising us the best length of time to spend in each place to make the most of our time and money. Journey Latin America are the specialists in this area - we have made 4 trips with them. Very knowledgeable and helpful - expensive holidays but good value for money. Nice interesting hotels and tours.

This was an amazing one month trip, superbly planned by Sophie Barber at Journey Latin America. We did some great walks in the National Parks, a three night cruise from Ushuaia and had a brilliant time.

We would only ever use Journey Latin America for trips to Central and South America. Sophie Barber at JLA is the best travel consultant we have come across.

Everything was well organised. We had a good balance of trips together and free time to explore. I was amazed at the sights of Iguazu Falls and Machu Picchu and was reduced to muttering, ' Wow' every few minutes. I felt we covered a great deal in a relatively short time. I know I would not have seen and done as much had I organised it myself.

Tour operator informed me of everything I would need . They provided all tickets etc and arranged transport, hotels etc . in advance. It was a successful, fast paced trip.
