Lots of road travel - more than expected. some lovely sights but also some boring ones that took too long to get to. Average hotels.

This was a private trip and we spent two weeks tasting wine and seeing wonderful things, staying in great hotels. The Iguazu Falls were mind blowing as was dancing Tango in Buenas Aires and enjoying wonderful steaks and Malbec.

Journey Latin America are a top operator in South America. The are efficient with excellent tour leaders, drivers and everything is well organised and thought out. I can thoroughly recommend them.

Organised, reliable, expert

Visit to Brazil - Pantanal to see Jaguars, then Chile to the Torres del Paine National Park and onto Argentina around Cafalate, El Chalten and finally Bahia Bustamante. All very good and well organised. A long lasting memory for our Golden Wedding.

They have organised 6 trips to South America and Journey Latin America have always done an excellent job, Particularly their expert Paul Winrow-Giffin, who is very knowledgeable and has always found good places for us to stay and provided great experiences.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks hiking and kayaking in Peru. After a few days in Lima we headed to the Andes, Cuscu and then onto the Apurimac River for wire water adventures.

Group tour of all the main highlights of Peru with excellent accommodation, superb tour leader and wonderful excursions. Shopping opportunities abounded too. Peru has natural beauty, interesting history, great food and culture too.

After a couple of weeks volunteering in Cusco, we travelled in the Cusco, Ayacucho, Cordillera Blanca and Trujillo areas of Peru.

We had a 3-centre holiday in Brazil - 4 nights in Florianopolis, 4 nights in the Amazon and 4 nights in the Pantanal. We had been forced to postpone this trip for 2 years, but it was definitely worth the wait.
