We travelled on a 14 night self guided gastronomic adventure around Japan visiting Tokyo, Matsumoto, Yakayama, Kanazawa, Kyoto. Mt Koya and Osaka. during the Cherry Blossom season. As well as staying in a variety of accommodations we experienced a range of local transport and participated in numerous activities including cooking classes. Thanks to the amazing pre-planning and information provided to us by our consultant we had a fabulous hassle free holiday.

Inside Japan Tours is an amazing company. Our consultant Dan provided attentive professional, comprehensive support right throughout the process including while we were away. The information pack was our best friend on the trip.

we had a clear idea of the types of activities, locations and venues we wanted to see in the 3 weeks we were there all was achieved within the budget set . the itenery with advice on locations , travel, eating and customs was so accurate it made life very easy and allowed us to enjoy the country

We had a wonderful time touring cities of Japan. We went to Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, Miyajima and Osaka and had an excellent itinerary of activities that we could do at our own pace. We got to experience Japan with the passion that the IJT agents express though their own travel experiences and we reaped the benefits of their insider knowledge.

From the moment we made contact, Inside Japan were great. The advice and recommendations made were well suited to us as a family and seamlessly incorporated into our wishes of a tour.

We had the most incredible 2 weeks in Japan. Starting in the fast paced and colourful Tokyo, we then changed pace and headed to the hot spring region of Hakone. Here we saw Mount Fuji and sampled the delights of a traditional Japanese inn. A beautiful train journey led us to the beautiful and quaint Takayama at the foot of the Japanese alps where we indulged in the nature of Japan and also experienced the most exquisite food in another Japanese Inn. Lastly we saw the beautiful cherry blossoms and spent time in the mysterious Gion geisha district, taking part in a tea ceremony and watching traditional Geisha dancing. It was a beautiful and exciting cultural experience and I would love to go back.

Inside Japan tours were fantasticallly organised. They produced a well thought out itinerary which allowed flexibility for us to explore yet offering seamless travel throughout Japan. The hotel and inn recommendations were of an excellent quality. The recommendations for activities and communication before, during and after the trip were amazing. I was fully involved in the planning process and tailored a unique holiday which far exceeded my expectations!

From arriving at the Airport to the Leaving last hotel everything was planned organised and we was informed of erery detail in advance

We had never been to Hakuba and we needed some help planning and purchasing tickets etc. Inside Japan Tours (IJT) stepped in and arranged our trains, transfers, ski lift passes, hotels, taxis and more! Their very detailed itinerary and Info-Pack was a big help and we never felt lost or like we didn't know what to do next. End December is peak season in Japan so having all our land arrangements (especially train tickets) prepared before our arrival in Tokyo was a load off our shoulders.

We felt like Inside Japan really cared about their tourists. The group leader got to know us and what we were interested in, and went out of his way to make the trip a great holiday, to tailor the trip to us. This was probably easier to do as they let us go on the holiday in a group of 5, and didn't cancel it as other companies would have, given such small numbers. They were very conscientious and did a translation of a allergy I had, even though it was only mild. It was a short trip, but we did a lot during the days and ended up getting a lot out of it. I would recommend Inside Japan to anyone!

The tour itinerary was perfect , including cities, countryside, mountains, volcanoes and beautiful gardens. The whole experience was made extremely enjoyable thanks to Ben our enthusiastic Tour Leader who shared his love of the country, its cuisine and culture with us.

Inside Japan provided excellent support and information before and during the tour. They were always very prompt to answer any queries before departure.

We visited and experienced many aspects of Japan. Using the brilliant transport system and staying in a mixed styles of accommodation. We visted the usual, temples, shrines, museums, gardens, including a Bonsai and Hokusai museums and visted Bizen pottery. Sample many types of Japanese cooking.

They were very helpful setting up the trip and adjusting and twicking it as i wanted. The itinerary in japan was easy to follow. We had no problems, even in the large train stations.
