Another memorable experience was taking a day trip to the picturesque town of Nikko, where I explored the stunning Toshogu Shrine and enjoyed a scenic hike through the surrounding mountains. The natural beauty of Japan is truly breathtaking, and I found myself constantly in awe of the landscapes around me. Of course, no trip to Japan would be complete without indulging in the delicious cuisine. From sushi and ramen to street food and traditional tea ceremonies, the variety and quality of food in Japan is unparalleled. Overall, my vacation to Japan was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will never forget. The welcoming people, rich culture, and stunning landscapes make it a must-visit destination for any traveler.

I recently went on a trip organized by InsideJapan and I have to say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. We had a fantastic holiday in Japan. All the arrangements worked really well . Right amount of time in each centre , travel arrangements were straightforward. Our organised tours were very interesting with first class guides providing local insights into the cities visited. We made full use of the Inside Japan info-pack , it became our daily 'bible' reading , keeping us on track. We also loved the baggage forwarding system and made full use of it during the trip.

Inside Japan have been an amazing partner throughout the 3 years in took from originally booking the trip to actually visiting Japan. Trip lived up to all our expectations. Not surprisingly there was a change of travel consultant during the 3 years of planning the trip ( Covid delays ) but the replacement consultant took over arrangements and was very proactive.

My husband and I are 62 years old and have just completed an amazing 3 weeks in Japan filled with Cherry Blossom, castles & great food. Our Itinerary was tailor made to our preferences. The detail that Inside Japan provided was outstanding. They made train travel a breeze with pre purchased rail passes and local transport tap card. They also informed us of a luggage forward company that transports your cases from one hotel to the next. This makes travelling on trains really easy. They provided options for accommodation from staying in Gassho’s traditional grass huts in the Japanese Alps to 5 star luxury. Our choice of accommodation was always in great locations with railway stations and attractions nearby. There was peace of mind knowing there is an English speaking back up service on the in ground Japan. We were provided with private guides in the large cities this made for an enjoyable informative experience.. I would highly recommend using this company if are wanting to travel in Asia. They also run small group tours.

Attention to detail was outstanding. The travel agents are interested in providing a holiday built for your own interests and preferences in mind.

Inside Japan clearly know the country very well, and set up up a very well thought out and varied itinerary. The tour guide was exceptional.

2.5 week trip touring major cities of Honshu in Japan including Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka

Well balanced iteniary, lovely local experiences, friendly service and provided a handy guide book for the tour and all the locations - a great way of exploring Japan for the first time

We loved Japan, but our trip was organized very poorly and the accommodations and tours were very mediocre

The person I worked with was hardly available and put together a very expensive trip that actually cost a fraction of the price. She was late confirming our materials and didn't actually book a driver to pick us up from the airport after she said she would. There were a few rushed travel days, which were stressful and unpleasant and we missed a tour because it wasn't though out well.

We spent almost 3 weeks exploring Japan, including Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Kanazawa, Hiroshima and Takayama. We explored temples and shrines, bustling cities, markets and countryside. We enjoyed a tea ceremony and got quite carried away by a sumo tournament. We experimented with the local cuisine and hot spring baths. We stayed in wonderful ryokans and enjoyed traditional Japanese hospitality. We were delighted by wonderful transport systems, (trains, plane, boats and buses) and fell in love with the Japanese people, whose kindness and politeness was enchanting. Our guides provided insights into Japanese culture and history in a way that was easy to absorb and entertaining. Out trip was tailored to our needs, but relied on the expertise of the travel company to flesh it out.

Inside Japan were marvellous, right from my initial phone calls to explore the possibilities for our trip, right through to support while we were away. The logistics of all our travel, hotels, guided tours and the sumo experience were perfect and everything ran smoothly. We really felt that they had understood our wants and needs and tailored our holiday itinerary to suit us perfectly.

Hidden Japan was a great experience, focusing on some of the lesser known and quieter areas of Japan. With a wide variety of accommodation, food and places to explore. We had a fantastic Tour leader, Mike, who was really informative and a great guide on our journey round. I would highly recommend this tour.

We are mature aged travelers looking for a semi self guided experience for our first trip to Japan. Inside Japan Tours delivered exactly what we hoped for. A great itinerary, wonderful accommodation, knowledgeable guides/and great cultural experiences. The arrangements including shinkansen travel, staying in touch, convenient hotel sites near major transport hubs, all added to our enjoyment and ease of touring. A highlight was attending a Grand Sumo Tournament in Osaka. Another was the onsen experience. A wonderful country to visit. A very polite and considerate society!

Inside Japan did everything to accommodate our touring needs. Their package was excellent in terms of their comprehensive itinerary and associated arrangements. It still allowed us considerable time for self guided activities and 'time to relax'. The experience of their staff and knowledge of Japan was a key reason we chose them.
