Travelling with a 4-year old and a 7-year old from Dubai (where we live) to Sri Lanka for 9 days then 4 nights in the Maldives. Sri Lanka was excellent, if a little tiring for the kids. We stayed in a variety of hotels and villas which were really nice places to stay, but just short of excellent for our kids for various nit-picky reasons. Our driver was a legend and showed us around his country professionally and with great charisma. He became the fifth member of the family and was very watchful over the kids if they strayed too close to flora and fauna that we might have not considered a danger. Maldives was a mixed bag. It would have been great for us as a couple, but with no kids club on the island, dining times too late for the kids and few activities for them, it became quite frustrating. We would have loved to do the diving, sailing etc together but couldn't. The work around was one of us looking after the kids whilst the other did an activity. Not ideal after a hard 9 days or so of exploring Sri Lanka. This was not the tour operator's fault as the Resort in the Maldives has misleading information on their website.

Good chat about what we were looking for, who was in our family and what we are like. A few ideas put together by our consultant, a few tweaks by us and the final plan was executed very nicely for us with minimal effort on our behalf. The grade is short of excellent because of the few non-kiddy friendly places we stayed in (low walls around a cliff garden in one place, bedrooms accessed from the bar in another, non flexible meal times and lack of kids activities in another)

Having just returned from a magical holiday in Sri Lanka I feel I have to praise Experience Travel for providing a holiday that was perfect in every detail. All our guides were exceptional and our driver who was with us for nearly 2 works cannot be praised enough. Sri Lanka is a beautiful island and it's people are welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend Experience Travel.

We spent a couple of days in Hong Kong before flying to Vietnam for a 2 week tour. We travelled from the North to the South with our 11 year old boy. Highlights included street food tours, Halong Bay junk cruise, cooking classes, ancient markets, fabulous beaches and an incredible vespa evening in Saigon. Our guides were caring and full of fascinating information. The local people were friendly and efficient and the food was amongst the best we have tasted anywhere. Vietnam totally exceeded all our expectations and we can't wait to return.

Experience Travel tailor-made an independent family tour which combined the highlights of Vietnam with some time to relax by the beach. The tours were exciting and of a high quality and the accommodation far exceeded our expectations. The holiday was excellent value for money and proved to be a fabulous country for a family trip leaving memories that will last a lifetime.

A real mixture of places and experiences, from the tea plantations in the central hills, to the cultural triangle steeped in Buddhist history and then on to a fantastic deserted beach with a juggle bungalow on the white sand. We were very impressed with Sri Lanka with its friendly people and relaxed atmosphere and would love to return.

Experience Travel Group organised a really good itinerary for us, which managed to accommodate all our interests (walking and hills for Steve, culture and history for Claire and a fantastic beach for the teenage Isabel). We had a meeting with them to talk about the country and then they produced various options and so we planned the itinerary together to come up with the perfect package - great service from start to finish and on the ground the driver and guide was excellent.

Choosing Experience Travel Group to organize our vacation to Vietnam was the best decision, as our vacation was perfectly organized, all transfers were very smooth and we were very well looked after (3 cities, 2 boat cruises, 2 internal flights). We have seen so many nice places, met great people and had the most amazing food. We fell in love with Vietnam, the Vietnamese people are so friendly and charming and the country is beautiful. All the tours that were fitted in our vacation program were magnificent (cycling and street food tour in Hanoi, Ha Long cruise, HoiAn, Vespa tour Saigon at night, Mekong Delta), all the locations we visited won our hearts and at the end of our vacation we just didn’t want to leave. We loved it! It certainly was our best vacation so far.

Destination Asia did a great job in looking after us throughout our vacation and making sure our program runs smoothly. We had so many things packed it, and each experience was delightful, thrilling, enriching, touching, charming due to our guides, who did their best to show us real Vietnam. Big thank you to all our guides, and special thanks to our Hanoi guide.

We spent 6 days exploring Cambodia with the help of Experience Travel. They organised the whole trip - flights, hotels and guides and drivers. We visited ancient temples and floating villages in Siem Reap which were impressive - and the genocide museum, the killing fields and the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh. Cambodia has suffered hugely in recent decades - we knew very little of the political history before we went. Their experience has been devastating - not pleasant - we are glad we now know more about it The Cambodian people were very friendly and welcoming - hotels provide great service and guides are knowledgeable and informative. Our family of four (two adult children) went to Vietnam and Cambodia, and then the younger two went on to Thailand for a fortnight of independent travel. We wanted a mix of culture, adventure and relaxation from our trip, and Experience Travel arranged a great programme with all of these, from cooking school and an art tour to quad biking and cycling at Ankor Wat. All four of us went on a Vespa tour in Ho Chi Minh, which was real highlight, and took us on an adventurous food tour, ending in the V'Ung coffee lounge with live singers. It was just what we had wanted!

Experience Travel were really helpful and liaised closely with us before we left, so we felt very secure. The local arrangements were excellent, and all the activities we did were very well organised. We stayed in some lovely hotels, being able to choose from a range beforehand.
