We had a fantastic experience from booking the trip to enjoying it when the time came. I was very excited for our children to learn about different cultures, foods and see how people live in different countries. We travelled to Thailand with ETG and experienced our perfect holiday with activities tailored to us and little added touches that made our trip extra special. Our hotels were marvellous, relaxing and comfortable and in excellent situations for sightseeing. The ETG staff we dealt with in the UK & in Thailand were kind, helpful & even went beyond the call of duty to make our holiday full of memories.

Nothing was too much trouble

A relaxed yet comprehensive introduction to India's many different shades, customs, history, beliefs, cuisine and societal strata. A well-thought out tour offering a range of environments all backed up by fabulous hotels and full supportive team. From Delhi to Agra, Chambal, Gwalior, Ramathra Jaipur, Anopura and return to Delhi over three weeks with a wonderful driver to cope with the roads and traffic. Travelling by car, train, rickshaw, tuk tuk and by foot. Meeting people from all walks of life and trying different foods. A wonderful introduction to India.

I was traveling to India for the first time with a friend who’d been there 35 years ago. As two women in their late 60’s we wanted some help and guidance without too much hand holding, this was perfectly arranged into our itinerary. We had a driver throughout the trip who was kind and helpful, we went from Delhi to Jaipur by train then drove to Pushka and onto Udaipur via Fort Kumbhalgarth. We wanted the trip to be about immersing ourselves in Rajastani India, we achieved that in bucket loads! From strolling through New Delhi to early morning markets, rickshaw rides, street food tasting, taking part in a local festival, visiting a block printing factory in Jaipur, shopping for beautiful cashmere, driving through beautiful countryside up to the incredible views from Fort Kumbhalgarth. Then our arrival, as it was getting dark, at our stunning hotel in Udaipur, roaming the streets the next day, more wonderful shopping, a Palace visit, our early morning bike ride into the countryside, a boat trip around the lake and a visit to a treasure store of Indian art and antiques. Sadly we had to come home!

We’ve had the most amazing time in Borneo exceeding all expectations. From the moment I made contact with James from ETG I’ve had an excellent service. He made time to listen to what I wanted from this trip and answered my numerous questions. He put together some packages for me to choose from, giving advice and tips throughout to find the perfect one. We visited Sepilok, Kinabatangan River, Tabin and Mataking Island. The hotels / transfers / guides / activities were all fantastic. We’ve genuinely had the trip of a life time. I had a couple of questions whilst there. We booked a 10 day personalised tour covering history (cultural triangle), culture, nature and beach relaxation.
