The hotels were excellent, with very attentive service. The chance to do more than the"Golden Triangle" was very well worth it and we feel we experienced the real India, especially with visits to local villages, such as Ramathra and Rohet. Our trip was memorable for the fact that the Government withdrew 500 and 1000 rupee notes from legal circulation on the day of our arrival, so we experienced the trials of 1.2 billion Indians, trying to obtain the new currency! ( Our guides were superb at helping us out with this issue). The food was very good, with very reasonable prices in most of the hotels we stayed in. ( Prices in Dehli hotels are inflated). It is always possible to ask local guides to take you to local restaurants, which we did on a few occasions.

After much research, we settled on Transindus for our trip to North India. We chose the "off the peg" Rajasthan tour from the brochure, but knew that the company would have tailor made the itinerary, if required. All the pre holiday details were excellent and the representatives, guides and especially our driver, were very professional. We will definitely consider using Transindus again, for other trips to Asia.

Tailor made. Started in Calcutta then Darjeeling, Varanasi, Bandhavgarh, Kanha, Agra, Bharatpur and Delhi. Travel by first class sleeper and private car. Travelled on the Toy Train, saw the sun rise over the Himalaya including a rare view of Everest. Watched the Aarti ceremony and boated early on the Ganga. Saw 8 tigers in Bandhavgarh and over a 100 species of birds throughout. Keoladeo was amazing. Taj Mahal exceeded expectations and so did tours of old and New Delhi. We stayed in the very best hotels, the Grand in Calcutta, Windamere in Darjeeling and a very interesting Haveli near Bharatpur.

The arrangements were perfect. Here was always a rep to meet us or see us on to the trains. They arranged guides at every point and the drivers were able always to maintain our confidence even in the chaos which passes for traffic in India.. We chose the itinerary and the hotels and they did the rest.

I booked a holiday with Transindus to Kerala for a party of three. Because of my disability I asked for a fairly light schedule. The result was a truly superb holiday that exceeded expectation in all regards. They were able to design a holiday around my needs while providing a large variation of activities and experiences ranging from local Kathakali dance to tours of tea plantations and spice gardens. The structure was well designed given my needs and limitations Our driver was superb and looked after us very well and all the hotels were of the highest quality.

Transindus looked after us very well from the planning and booking stage and guiding us through such matters as visa applications. They made sure everything was arranged so we were met on arrival and on departure, they had staff to help guide us through check-in as far as possible which was very useful given I need a wheelchair. Our emails were very swiftly answered and I felt there was very good support throughout.

We were looking for a specialist tour operator to provide an ultimate safari experience in India and we found Transindus. Our contact person, Mr Brijesh Sarsar took the time to answer all our questions carefully, before presenting a detailed proposal for us. He was very thorough, and this we found reassuring. In India all arrangements went like clockwork due to the personal attention to detail by all staff concerned. There was never a moment of uncertainty. The Taj properties used for the safari were excellent. The level of personal service exceeded all our expectations and made the journey truly memorable. Of course, we wanted to see the tigers and we were not disappointed. However, it is fair to say that we had an exceptional wildlife experience in the hands of the knowledgeable guides that the tiger sightings were the 'icing on the cake'

We met the staff of Transindus at the London Destinations exhibition, and gained a good impression of their knowledge and expertise. They do not leave anything to chance and we appreciated their attention to detail, and thorough presentation. When we arrived in India we could see that all the plans were integrated and delivered properly, and we immediately felt we were in the hands of experts. We have travelled widely over the years, but have not before encountered such a high and consistent level of quality and value for money. We would not hesitate to recommend Transindus as a preferred tour organiser

I early April 2016 I spent 10 enjoyable days as an independent traveller mainly in Delhi, Shimla and Dharamsala. Thanks to Transindus everything went smoothly. Travel - by train and car - was comfortable and drivers and guides were expert and considerate. The hotels chosen for me were excellent and the sightseeing programme varied and interesting.

Right from my initial contact with them Transindus were extremely professional and helpful. They responded promptly to my enquiries and the itinerary they prepared met all of my requirements.

Well thought out and well supported on the ground and thus enjoyable. Some of TransIndus's suggestions were really thought-provoking which all added to the overall enjoyment level.

We visited India, we flew to Mumbai and then on to Nagpur. We stayed 3 nights at Tadoba, 2 nights at Pench and 3 nights at Satpura, and then on to Mumbai for a wonderful stay at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. We saw some amazing wildlife, all the lodges were great and the food was fantastic. The Sloth Bear and Tiger sightings were unexpected and just made our trip. We were upgraded at the Taj Mahal Palace, and our stay there was very special. It is perfect, we could not fault our relaxing stay there.

This is the 3rd time we have travelled with Transindus to India, and would not go with anyone else. Vasu, our travel advisor is brilliant, we let him know where we want to visit and he comes up with great intineraries for us,along with excellent places to stay. We will be using them again in the future, as they are really helpful, and the price is always good.

This was a personalised tour of Royal Rajasthan which proved to be a fabulous experience. The hotels booked for us by TransIndus were all amazing, not one failed to impress with beautiful rooms, delicious food both Indian and international cuisine. The hotel staff were kind, caring and helpful. It is impossible to distil into a few words our fantastic experience. The highlights were the Taj Mahal which no picture or film can do justice to its magnificence, the spice bazaar in Old Dehli, the spotless tidiness of the Bishnoi village on our jeep safari, the majesty of the forts and temples. The Gandhi memorial in Dehli was thought provoking and peaceful. The Indian people were friendly and seemed to be always smiling. We now need to return to see more of this wonderful country.

TransIndus have been wonderful. It felt like a real partnership in the planning and our advisor Vasu was always ready to answer our queries - this was the first time we had done anything like this. It was a fantastic experience. We were met every step of the way by TransIndus agents who explained the arrangements for that stage of the holiday, checked us into our hotels, introduced us to our local guide and ensured we had their phone number in case we had any queries. Without exception our guides were brilliant, knowledgeable and witty and really excellent company. They conversed about all aspects of life in India, past and present and were interested to know about England which made for good conversation. From the outset we appreciated the great skill of our driver and always felt completely safe with him. He was kind and courteous and good fun. He made sure we were comfortable on the journeys. The excellent organisation throughout combined with helpful personnel allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday to the full.

This was a special holiday for and we used Transindus after recommendation from a friend. This was a tailor made holiday for us including Mumbai, Bandagaher tiger reserve , Varanessi, Agra, Jaipur, Delhi and Shimla. Transindus organised hotels travel etc and could not be faulted.

From our first meeting with them they were very helpful on every aspect of our holiday. They listened to our needs and met every one of then including a ranging, at our request, small and intimate hotels. Their representatives in India and the guides and drivers chosen by them met the same high standards. When our travel plans were disrupted by the Jat uprising alternative transport was arranged for us. In essence we could not fault them

We enjoyed a Tailor made holiday to South India, commencing in Chennai and finishing in Kochi. The accommodation was always first class and the provision of our own driver and car for the whole time enabled us to explore the local life in greater detail. Local guides were included at each part of the tour which again gave greater insight into what we were seeing. Leisure time was built in to enable us to relax and take stock of each day we spent in what is truly Incredible India.

What is refreshing about organising a holiday with Transindus is that the people you deal with actually know the places you are going to visit and are able to advise how many days are best to see all of the sites. Their knowledge of the hotels is also crucial when deciding the budget for your holiday. The UK operation is backed up on the ground with local personnel who are also concerned about your well being while you are away.
