Had a bespoke three-week trip to Myanmar which was put together by TransIndus with my input. We had our own guides and drivers for travelling around. It was very well organised and the balance between sightseeing and relaxation was about right. Myanmar is a welcoming country with friendly people, if you are prepared to overlook the current problems in the west of the country (which did not affect our trip as we did not go to Rakhine state).

From the first contact with Brijesh Sarsa who compiled our itinerary to our driver taking us to the airport on our homeward journey this holiday was a masterclass of perfect organization at every stage, from the drivers, tour guides and the hotels we stayed at. This trip started in Mumbai and then to rock temples of Ellora and Ajanta, the Narmada river, Mandu and Bhopal finishing in Mumbai. Long drives but worth it. TransIndus are an excellent company. This is our 5th trip with them.

We spent 2 nights in Delhi at the ITC Maurya, 2 nights in Varanasi at the Gateway Hotel, 2 nights in Agra at the ITC Mughal and 3 nights in Jaipur at the ITC Rajputana. Our last night was at the Holiday Inn airport hotel in Delhi. The hotels were all excellent. We were met by a rep at each destination and introduced to a guide and driver. We took internal flights from Delhi to Varanasi which although there was one long delay were very comfortable and although of short duration provided us with a 2 course meal. Our train journey was from Bharatpur to Jaipur and was again comfortable with a 2 course meal.

The reps were very efficient meeting us at destinations, booking us into hotels and taking us to airports and the station. The guides and our driver were all excellent. They spoke clear English and provided an excellent level of information without overload. They also shared personal details and general information on India to give us as full a picture as possible of life in India. The choices of hotels was excellent - suited to the information I had provided regarding our requirements. In all areas of the trip I feel that the TransIndus rep who designed the trip had listened to us and produced a trip that exactly suited what we wanted.

A bespoke tour for three weeks in March of 2017 using trains so far as possible. We managed to cover around 4,500 kilometers by rail visiting Delhi, Kolkata, Darjeeling, Varanasi and Shimla

We used TransIndus for the first time to arrange our first trip to India as independent travellers. The arrangements exceeded our expectations from first to last. Vasu Bhardwaj was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in designing a tour exactly to our requirements. All the local agents and guides in India were exemplary in their care, expertise, courtesy and reliability - including waiting to greet us at New Delhi Station until 1.30 a.m. when our train was nearly five hours late arriving. It was an amazing holiday. We are hoping to use TransIndus again to book our 2018 Indian holiday.

We recently went to South Korea and Japan. TransIndus had arranged a good itinerary for us. Japan was something else. We travelled independently by bullet and local trains, with our main luggage going to the main centres whilst we travelled to ryokans. It certainly was an adventure, we ate Japanese food the whole time, not always to our taste, met lots of lovely people and saw some wonderful places.

This was the fourth time we have used TransIndus but the first outside India. Their representative advised us on places to see and came up with a fantastic itinerary.
