This Lourdes visit was a different experience, partly due to Covid fears (rather than imposed restrictions) and partly because many businesses were in process of closing down for the winter, when "normally" I have been in August. Thus for the big daily services, the Pius X church was less than half-full. The hotel was well-appointed and the staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed warm, sunny weather - except the last day ! Thus there were many smiling faces !

I have traveled to Lourdes with Tangney Tours for many years. The company has a philosophy of care and coping, even when flights and hotel arrangements are badly affected by outside agencies. The management members are usually on hand and available. Their contacts in airports, hotels and kitchens have proved very useful in unexpected situations.

A wonderful visit to Lourdes which fulfilled all my expectations.

Very well organised. Particular thanks to our tour guides Lisa and Linda who could not have done more to help us. Particularly for me as a vegetarian (who eats fish - pescatarian !) France sadly is not always the best place for people who do not eat meat.

6 Wonderful days in Lourdes. The two representatives, in Lourdes Lisa and Linda where exceptional there knowledge on Lourdes and St.. Bernadette was second to none, also worked tirelessly on all the covid paperwork....to the gratitude of ALL the group.

We had a fantastic holiday, and the tour guides, Lisa and Linda were absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time

Tangney Tours Overcame many obstacles in order that we could go on our pilgrimage as arranged. They kept us informed at every stage of the process when flights and transfers had to be changed due to unavoidable circumstances around COVID-19

We were made to feel very welcome from the time we arrived at the Airport by the Tangney Staff who worked very hard throughout the pilgrimage, Organising the necessary transportation, and keeping us informed, helping us to complete paperwork and covid testing and nothing was to much trouble . I enjoyed the stay at hotel, which was in a good location near the Domain. The staff were very friendly, helpful and hard working..The rooms, meals and service were good

Most enjoyable, very well organised and paid close attention to detail making sure everything went smoothly .The staff were execellent worm and welcoming . Working very hard on keeping us informed on all that was happening with a personal pilgrim touch.

I was a pilgrimage to Lourdes in France

Tangney Tours are professional, personal & very accommodating, highly recommended for pilgrimages.

We were looking to have a celebration for my father's 75th birthday. We were also looking for a relaxing break after the COVID restrictions were eased. Our four days with Tangney Tours provided that ideal. The warmth, friendship and relaxing days spent with a group of people who had only met due to this holiday was simply amazing. The food, accommodation, service and above all the friendly and helpful people made this a memorable experience for my father. The staff went out of their way to enrich our experience. This was the break we needed after a long year of the lockdown.

Our Tour operator was the reason why we enjoyed this holiday. The staff went out of their way to make our experience a better one. The daily programme enabled us to make the most of our pilgrimage. The guides on hand were so helpful and knowledgeable that each part of the pilgrimage brought more meaning. The schedule was such that we had a lot on offer yet the flexibility to change remained. With regards COVID - I must thank the tour operator for sparing no effort in ensuring all tests were carried out, providing transportation to and from the testing pharmacy and finally the assistance with the Passenger Locator Forms. Both my parents are disabled and one of the guides, stayed with us until assistance for disabled access was arranged. I would recommend Tangney Tours any time as an efficient Tour Operator but also one who creates a family for those days of a pilgrimage and provides them with an excellent service and atmosphere.

I attended a group pilgrimage to Lourdes, organised by Tangney Tours. I initially flew from London Heathrow to Toulouse, and thereafter took a coach from Toulouse to Lourdes. I stayed in the Elisio Hotel, where all meals were included. The primary reason of my holiday was as a pilgramage, therefore to practice my Christian religion. I attended various mass's, had a coach trip, went on an organised walking tour of Lourdes and also in my free time visited the baths, went on the Pic du Jer firnacular and spent time shopping.

My tour operator Tangney Tours was excellent, the tour leaders were always on site to answer any questions and attended the mass's with us. They had a good knowledge of Lourdes, and dealt with the covid paperwork and tests very efficiently.
