WELL PLANNED and VERY USEFUL GUIDE BOOKLETS IN ACCESSORY FOLDER.

ON A FEW OCCASSIONS I TELEPHONED AND RECEIVED GOOD AND COURTEOUS SERVICE and ADVICE

We experienced so much in the course if the eight days of pilgrimage, which will stay with us for the rest of our lives. The visits to a whole range of sites were varied and spiritually stimulating. Our daily Masses in so many different venues were memorable and thought-provoking.

We really appreciated the range of visits we experienced. Pre-pilgrimage materials were organised and helpful.

It was a beautiful holiday. The tour guide who we call Sam made the whole trip interesting and pleasant. A little bit tiring but the spiritual and historical knowledge of the tour guide will ever remain with me. Brilliant.

Very courteous when contacted , but I felt I had to chase for information. .Contact & information earlier would have been better, I felt it was all left until the last minute, I don’t know if this was because I was not the lead person and the communication between all parties was poor

The guide was knowledgeable and helpful,; the driver safe and skilful; the hotels good and the food plentiful with several choices. The itinerary was well planned and the experience physically demanding but spiritually refreshing.

Have experienced them several times and found them consistently sound and helpful. Disappointments in the detail were few and trivial

Not really suitable for the elderly and ailing members of the group. A warning that there would be a lot of walking on stairs, slopes and slippery surfaces would have been a good idea.

The guide was very well informed and the accommodation and coach of a good standard. We were well organised at the airports.

Everyone was helpful. It was nice meeting Fr Peter Stott and his group from Newcastle who’ve become good friends.

It was a pilgrimage to Lourdes. Plans were disrupted by a French air traffic controller strike, but the tour operator responded extremely well

Everything was very efficient from the first call to ask about the journey to the very end when I ordered for a return journey In particular I would like to comment on the excellence of the agent in Lourdes, As well as the telephone contacts with your central office when flights had to be changed

It was wonderful. The passion Play in Oberammergau was something I had longed to see and was not disappointed. Hotel Aura in Saulgrab was excellent, clean, beautifully fitted rooms and the whole place catered for the disabled so made life much easier for some in our party. Food was excellent and traditionally German. the Hotel in Desenzano, the Europa was also good, more traditional in style, facing the lakeside. Some of out number were coeliac and it seemed to be a struggle for the staff to meet their needs at meal times although they provided a basket of gluten free for breakfast. Waiting staff were lovely but seemed confused by who was vegetarian and who was coeliac and what that meant in terms of what they could eat. Otherwise can't fault the facilities or location. The second day our boat trip to Isola del Garda had to be cancelled due to weather being too poor to sail. I was sorry as I particularly wanted to visit the garden there. However Sinead got us to Sirmione by coach and organised a short boat trip back to the hotel so all was not lost. We were a big group to manage and we had 3 people with mobility problems as well as numerous other small glitches to deal with, Frances and Sinead were great and very friendly and easy with us all. If I have a criticism it is that I would have liked to have had one more day in Oberammergau. The play and eating out twice took a whole day. There's a fantastic museum relating to the play and village, there are 2 famous churches and all those beautifully painted houses to look at - never mind all the shopping opportunities. There's also a woodworking factory it would have been good to visit. I realise you have to make choices but several of us wished we'd had another day. The area is great for walking too and some people may have enjoyed a ramble or two also.

Tangney Tours. I got lots of documentation to prepare me for the trip, timings, flight documentation and a folder and badge on a lanyard so we could find eachother. Nothing was too much trouble for Frances in Germany and Sinead in Italy. Sinead's grasp of Italian and her fluency was great to behold. She mad big efforts to ensure we understood and didn't get lost.
