Very well organised pilgrimage . From start to finish it was enjoyable and value for money

We used Tagney Tours to book our travel & hitel, but had our own itinerary pkanned. Apart from having to collect our Boarding Passes from one specific ‚check-in desk’ - very inconvenient, all was very good

In France, the Tour operator agent - LISA was absolutely perfect. Meeting us daily to see if all was ok, and bending over backwords, to ensure that we were happy. Nothing was too much trouble for her! Well done Lisa! Thank you very much, Gwenne & Marysia

I would like to say that Tangney Tours and our excellent guide were working under difficult conditions as there was so much packed into this trip. So sometimes we were rushed: 10 minutes in a church that we had taken 20 minutes to reach on foot. Once kept waiting on a busy corner as our guide did not know how to get to the coach and then we went one way and had to backtrack. Having said that our guide was excellent and tried very hard to fit the brief. Travel was faultless, hotels were mixed. Steyler Fatima hotel excellent. Clean, comfortable, food first class. Porta Nova Collection House - good dinner at Hotel Villa Garden but had coach and walk to Porta Nova. Room small. There was a pull-down table where we would have had to sit on the bed to use and would not have been able to walk around if down. There was a gulley beneath both windows. This could have been very dangerous getting up at night. Dust in corner. Breakfast OK. Congresso Hotel Santiago very good 10/10. Miramar Loredo were not able to cope with so many guests. Same plates used for first and second courses. Food not very good. 10 minutes after starting meal plastic water bottles were plonked on the table. Guide had to chase up the wine. Hotel Tibur, Zaragossa. Good room, professional staff, excellent food. Hotel Palacio de los Velada, Avila. Confortable hotel, excellent food, fantastic breakfast.

I think everything would have gone smoothly with a brief which was less tight. I imagine there was not much choice of hotel in some of the venues. But I would not recommend using the Miramar, Loredo or Porta Nova Collection House again.

Another very happy week spent in Lourdes

I have travelled with Tangney Tours twice a year for 50 years. That speaks all!

wonderful supportive check in at birmingham/ fantastic hotel as always at the Beausite who accommodated our requests and staff greeted us warmly as always . The check in and travel from Birmingham airport was over seeN by John Tangney and his son Nickolas. So travel tooo and from Lourdes was smooth. As pilgrims we that we were in great hands with Tangney tours

The pilgrimage was great as usual, food was good and great weather

The Tour Guide was not up to par. Two of the hotels we stayed should not be called hotel and i wonder if and when they were last visited by the tour operator or their representatives

They got the details wrong on two of the Pilgrims and we had to get them another tickets . The pilgrimage itself was a blessing and i can't put a price on that.. I have travel with them before and has a lot of my relatives, friends and parishioners and the trip were excellent so i am not sure what happened this time .; Maybe they took their eye off the ball on this one.. I will try with them again as this might be a one off.

Very emotional, uplifting, however the hotel let it down. Food was poor, bedrooms were basic without tea and coffee.

Didn't see anyone from Tangney except at the airport, no representation at the hotel.

It was the Birmingham Diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes.
