we had a magical Santa experience, a holiday of a lifetime. We and our 5 year old twins had the time of their lives as did their Grandparents. Ski Lapland made the whole experience relaxed and effortless for us and every part of the trip was superb. The flexibility to add days skiing to the end of the trip was the icing on the cake and we would absolutely recommend Ski Lapland.

Superb, reliable, friendly and relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble.

Our trip to Lapland got off to a poor start when the flight was delayed by over 2 hours with us sitting on the plane at Manchester Airport. However, once we took off everything else ran like clockwork. We were met at Kuusamo Airport by our holiday rep and taken to our resort which was lovely. Our apartment was perfect as it overlooked the ski-runs and was within walking distance of restaurants and shops. All of our activities were well organized and great fun. My 5 year old daughter and I especially loved the dog-sledding. Meeting Father Christmas was as much fun for me as it was her! Three days wasn't long enough to spend in such a beautiful place.

SkiLapland were very helpful and provided all of the information needed prior to travel. The representatives at the resort were friendly. Would definitely recommend using them to book a holiday to Lapland.

We travelled on the 23rd December and spent 4 nights in Ruka Cottages. Everything was brilliant and we all enjoyed all the activities from reindeer sleigh rides, husky sleigh rides, snowmobile safaris, ice karting and meeting Father Christmas, himself on Christmas Day was the icing on the cake. We had a variety of ages from 5,11 and 14 and this Ski Lapland holiday was perfect for this, very personal and not gimmicky or commercial. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend! All activities were organised to perfection. We also had a days skiing and the hire of equipment was excellent service too. The only thing I would suggest is that as we were there over Christmas itself it would have been nice if the cottage had have had some Christmas decorations but to be honest you were hardly inside so it did not matter, just would have been a nice touch!

Absolutely brilliant! Best Christmas ever! Great communication from the word go and very personal service. The organisation of all the transfers and activities were exceptional. The guides for the activities were very personable and attentive too. A wonderful holiday in every way, We all want to come again!!

From the moment we arrived in Lapland we were taken care of by the SkiLand land representatives fantastically. The accommodation was fantastic and all the trips were run superbly. The small groups we went out to see Santa and go on Husky rides and reindeer rides were brilliant!

We were a family group of 7 adults and 4 young children that travelled to Lapland, mainly to see Santa Claus. We travelled one day, had 2 full days in Ruka, then returned on the 4th day. The cabin accommodation was cosy and warm. The log fire had been lit for our arrival, our supper was waiting for us, and there was even a xmas tree ready to decorate. All our meals were brought to our cabin as requested. The organized activities we had booked were great for everyone. As it was so cold, it was very nice to be given lots of hot food and drinks on the activities. Well organized. Everything went according to plan with no problems at all. Everyone said it was an amazing experience.

The Ski-Lapland agent that looked after our booking was very helpful indeed, and ensured that everything we asked for was taken care of. She answered all my e-mails and queries promptly. She made me feel very confident that the trip would be good, and indeed it was.

We spent a week in Finnish Lapland enjoying several nordic winter sports - downhill skiing, cross country skiing, ice karting etc. Lapland offers a much better range of things to do compared to popular ski resorts in Western Europe which offer a more limited choice of activities.

Ski Lapland have got it right - someone around if you need help but leave you to enjoy your holiday at your leisure.

We are a family of four and the children hadn't been skiing for about six years. We had perfect snow conditions and the Hemsedal apartment was really comfortable and spacious. Although it was a little way away we were lucky to get a locker so we didn't have to walk with our kit. The children just had the best holiday ever and definitely want to return next year. I was amazed at how quickly their skiing and confidence improved during the course of the week due to their ski school lessons. Thank you Ski Norway!

Our tour operator was really helpful and friendly and although she didn't stay in Hemsedal it was easy to contact her by e-mail

We had three glorious days of cross country ski-ing in Finland, There were loads of tracks to follow , ranging from the beginner tracks to advanced. The tracks started very close to the Apartment so it was easy to get to them- no queuing!Cross coutry ski ing is really fun- but energetic!- and you can stop to admire all the lovely scenery whilst you whizz along The equipment hire was straightforward and efficient. Again , no queuing. There were lots of other facilities available if you wanted to do downhill skiing or snow boarding. Children of all ages / abilities were also catered for. We went self catering , lovely clean, well equipped apartment, very central excellent choice of foods in the local supermarket. We didn't eat out but there were lots of restaurants , cafe's etc. there. We mostly had good weather whilst we were there which enabled us to enjoy the fabulous scenery, clear air and being outdoors. Although short, our time in Finland left us feeling rested, relaxed , restored and ready to face our daily lives again. Who knows how we would have felt if we'd been there longer!

My daughter and I wanted a five day break in Finland in order to go cross country skiing. We were restricted on when we could go due to her university commitments and our budget.To be honest I didn't think it was going to be possible I can't fault Scandinavian Travel Ltd for their knowledge, attentiveness, efficiency and for tailoring our holiday to fit our requirements perfectly and within budget. They went out of their way to ensure we had what we wanted and made really thoughtful,sensible suggestions such as ordering some groceries to be available in our apartment following our very late arrival . Very welcome. Matt's local knowledge was invaluable and all the services they had organised happened smoothly. As soon as finances allow we will be booking another holiday with Ski Lapland. My only hesitation in recommending them is a worry that they will become too big and lose that personal touch- other than that I can't fault them.

Family ski holiday with ski Noreay. Empty slopes, no waiting around for lifts! Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Childcare and ski school were amazing. Both our kids loved ski school. No more than 5 kids in the group and all the instructors were friendly. Ski in ski out accommodation. All at half term- couldn't have asked for more!
