Rob and his team were extremely helpful in organising our first safari holiday. After listening to our wishes, their knowledge, advice and planning was excellent resulting in a holiday that was beyond our expectations. They even resolved a major problem for us when one of our flights was cancelled. Thank you to Rob and his team for a holiday of a lifetime.

Our tour operator, Safari Consultants Ltd, Managing Director Rob Slater, was recommended to us and we were not disappointed.

Excluding travel nights - we had 3 nights at Oj Peteja and 3 nights in Masia Mara. Then off to 5 nights in Seychelles on Praslin Island.

Francis did an excellent job planning our honeymoon - down to every little detail! We didn't have to worry about a thing being taken care of while away.

We travelled with Safari Consultants on a 3 week trip to Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe in 2022. The consultant really listened to our preferences and created a wonderful itinerary ranging from the Kalahari desert where we enjoyed a quad bike safari to the Okavango Delta where we saw hippos from a small flat bottomed boat and traditional canoe to a houseboat travelling down the Chobe River with elephants as far as the eye could see. The trip culminated at Victoria Falls which was stunning, lunch on Livingstone Island and a death defying swim in the Devil's Pool. Absolutely stunning and the trip of a lifetime.

Safari Consultants created an excellent itinerary at a variety of camps and with activities planned everywhere we went. Changeovers including small flights were seamless and everywhere we went we were supported and guided without feeling smothered. All of the camps selected were very comfortable with excellent guides who made the whole holiday a pleasure.

Their extensive knowledge and experience enabled them to select appropriate accommodation for our requirements. Also gave us extensive help in pulling together the difficult visa and covid entry requirements.

I stayed at Nomad Kuro Tarangire, Alex Walker's Serian Lamai Mobile Camp and went fly camping for 4 nights with the Serian crew. I grew up in South Africa and have been to sub Sahara Africa around 11 times as an adult and this was the most memorable trip yet. Sightings at both locations were excellent but the staff and the landscape made this trip so special. Cannot fault them for professionalism, enthusiasm and attention to detail. And fly camping is an absolute must, especially in that location. Truly unforgettable.

Michele has known me for many years now and knows what I like and dislike. I trust her implicitly to choose new locations and new providers that suit my needs 100%. My next trip is spending 2 months in Namibia, researching a thesis and wild camping North towards the Angola border and I have of course booked this with Safari Consultants. I would never go to Africa with anyone else. They know their stuff and truly care for their clients and the continent.

We had the most fabulous safari, our camp was excellent in a lovely position and the staff were always friendly and very helpful for anything that you wanted. The game viewing was great as was our guide, who was very knowledgeable and always happy to answer any questions we had, he was also a very good driver.

We have been with Safari Consultants before and again they did not disappoint, nothing was too much trouble and their organisation left nothing to chance. The choice of our safari camp could not be faulted, which made for a great holiday which we will not forget. If we ever return to Africa we will most certainly chose them to travel with.

We visited Victoria Falls which was breathtaking. We were able to watch the sunrise over the falls and were mesmerized by the beauty of it all. I call Victoria Falls the land of rainbows because there were so many. Our guide was terrific and ensured we saw the most beautiful parts of the falls.

He was very excited to greet us, incredibly knowledgable about the area and history, ensured our safety, and overall lovely.

I met the friendliest Batswana staff at the Lodges. Everyone knew my name! Everything was well coordinated from beautiful accommodations, meal times, boat rides, to Safari jeep rides. The guides had tremendous knowledge. They were friendly, uptempo, fun and answered all our numerous questions. Food was prepared meticulously. To me, it was a trip of a lifetime. I loved seeing the animals in their natural habitat!

Rob Slater of Safari Consultants kept each of us very informed on how to prepare for the Botswana trip. Since I had never been to any country in Africa, I needed a lot of guidance in that department.

Utterly loved it. Botswana 11 days, 4 different camps, a perfect sequence/flow chosen by Rob at Safari Consultsnts for us. Could never ever have come up with that itinerary alone. Stunning game in amazing camps, A first safari for my boys 10-16 - a family memory forever.

Rob Slater of Safari Consultants was true excellence. Going above and beyond every time, clearly genuinely caring you had a great time. Took ample time to understand what we needed. Brilliant advice (our start point we'd come with was Namibia in October and he pointed out pros and cons and without pressure suggested alternatives he thought might fit our family better, and was so right. Every detail was perfect from SC. Knowing he was there to call with any questions was so helpful. I have already recommended them and will continue to do so lavishly.

A brilliant trip to introduce our grandsons to Africa providing lots of memories to bring home. Three days of exploring Cape Town and area against blue skies, spotting three species of whales in Hermanus, history and culture in Johannesburg and the Big 5 and more in Madikwe. Thank you for your advice, flexibility in adapting our itinerary and your ability to anticipate and deal with potential difficulties as they arose.
