Kenya Safari
We spent the first part of our holiday in Laikipia - 2 nights at Lewa House and 2 nights Walking Wild. Both of these were excellent and I was impressed with how much the guides knew not only about the animals and birds but also about the plants (which I am very interested in). We then flew to Kicheche Valley in the Mara for 4 nights. There we did several game drives and a walk on the conservancy and had a day trip to the Mara Reserve when we ...

We then flew to Kicheche Valley in the Mara for 4 nights. There we did several game drives and a walk on the conservancy and had a day trip to the Mara Reserve when we saw the wilderbeast crossing. The animals were fabulous and between the two locations we saw all of the 'big 5' plus lots more. The only disappointing thing is that these safari holidays are so expensive per night in camp that I don't think we will be going again!

The Hwange camp was simply outstanding.Elephant Safari, this 'The Elephant Safari' included 2 very different styles of camp: a mobile camp site in Choebe Reserve, Botswana, and an outstanding permanent camp in Hwange, Zimbabwe, with an overnight stay in Victoria Falls in-between. The contrast between these 3 centres ensured continuous interest and changes of scenery as well as animal and bird sightings. How the staff in the Choebe mobile camp managed to cook such fabulous food within this environment with such limited facilities, I will never know. In contrast, Hwange was simply the most sumptuous camp I have had the pleasure to stay in. What was most different for me about this whole trip was the proximity we were able to achieve to the animals: using the Pangolin boat on the Choebe river, and both walking and parked at the waterholes in Hwange.

Safari Consultants provide an excellent service. Their communication is second to none; pushing out information at all relevant stages of the booking process and responding to queries seemingly at all hours of the day. Nothing is too much trouble. This was my third safari with them and we are already planning the next. I cannot recommend them too highly.

Kenya Safari to remember for a lifetime
Superb organisation by Safari Consultants meant that we were looked after at every stage from the original planning through to the arrival back in England. We couldn't fault the service and the recommendation of Kicheche Mara Camp couldn't have suited us better.

Excellent
We spent 3 nights at 3 of the Kicheche Camps in Kenya - Laikipia, Mara Main Camp and Mara Bush Camp. All 3 camps were excellent in every way - the hosts, staff, food, tents and locations. There was absolutely nothing but positive things to say about them. The wildlife viewing was also exceptional with a lot of "activity" amongst the animals seen eg hyena cubs chasing each other, cheetah cubs playing and climbing trees, leopards on the move, ...

There was absolutely nothing but positive things to say about them. The wildlife viewing was also exceptional with a lot of "activity" amongst the animals seen eg hyena cubs chasing each other, cheetah cubs playing and climbing trees, leopards on the move, lions mating, lion cubs playing and lion killing wildebeest. We also saw a large and several small "crossings" at the Mara river, most of the animals crossed safely but one poor topi was taken by 2 crocodile. We had the most amazing sunsets and night skies to top it all off. All in all an excellent holiday and Safari Consultants excelled themselves once again.

We have booked on several occasions with Safari Consultants and as usual they excelled themselves with the holiday. We tend to go with their suggested itinerary in the main and they never let us down. I feel very reassured booking with them and know we are going to get a great holiday with them. Probably booking a holiday to Botswana/Okavango Delta with them for 2017.

A wonderfully varied safari in the dust of Zambia.
We visited Zambia primarily, but also included Namibia and Zimbabwe, over 20 days. Our Chobe river cruise was a great way to start as it was a completely relaxing beginning: lots of elephants and baboons. Seeing Vic Falls completed my tick list of world waterfalls, and was spectacular. Zambia was superb: South Luangua NP was an amazing lion-experience, with excellent guides, and our walking safari section was a highlight for us. Finally, the ...

Zambia was superb: South Luangua NP was an amazing lion-experience, with excellent guides, and our walking safari section was a highlight for us. Finally, the Lower Zambezi valley showed us why the river has the reputation it deserves for wildlife and environmental magic, with elephants and hippos in abundance.

Totally competent planning and execution of the trip. All transfers were flawless. Good mix of venues and wildlife, and all in the most appropriate order. Safari Consultants clearly know their customers very well indeed! We would certainly use them again.

An amazing experience!
Safari in Kenya, staying at Ol Pejeta Conservancy and the Mara North Conservancy, 8 nights in all. The camps that Mary Grimwood at Safari Consultants picked for us were just amazing, with wonderful, knowledgeable staff and great atmosphere. After this, six nights i Zanzibar to relax and unwind. Equally wonderful, staying at a beachside resort on the east coast! All in all a fantastic trip thanks to Mary and Safari Consultants!

Botswana - the Best
Having travelled to most of the safari countries in Africa, this was my fifth time in Botswana (my second through Safari Consultants), and suffice to say I consider it to be simply 'the best'. I stayed four nights at each of three lodges - Okuti, Nxabega, and Selinda Camp. They were all different in their own ways, but exactly the same in that they were faultless in my opinion. The Guides, the accommodation, the food, the game, the management, were all absolutely superb. All the arrangements, timings, flight connections, etc went seamlessly. Add to that the joyful, happy and helpful Botswanan people and you have a dream holiday - and that's just what I had. I may have to visit again for a sixth time!

This was my second time booking my safari through Safari Consultants, and would have no hesitation in using their services again. They are highly professional and knowledgeable, and have first hand experience of most of the locations and camps. On a personal level, they remember everything about you - your preferences, any special requirements, health issues, etc. So, from that point of view, they can confidently guide you to the safari that will be best for you. Highly recommended!
