Hoopoe Safaris were wonderful for the Kilimanjaro climb. Excellent staff who made a challenging climb fun. Our safaris in Tarangire, Ngorongoro crater and the Serengeti were unforgettable. We were well cared for, saw remarkable wildlife and the interaction of nature in a way we never expected. Wonderful people. From Tanzania we travelled to Rwanda to see the gorillas and golden monkeys. All in all, our guides educated us in both the way of their home countries and the natural world around them.

Julia at Safari Consultants was invaluable. Generous with her time, she helped us select a combination of activities that was perfect. Her knowledge of the countries and tours available provided us with a remarkable experience. Highly recommend Safari Consultants and their staff for travel in Africa.

We had 5 days in the masi Mara and a week in Zanzibar both were well organised and the safari food and service was secound to none

They sorted everything out from start to Finnish could not praise them enough

1 night at Southern Sun hotel, 4 nights at Lake Manze tented camp (absolutely fantastic), 3 nights at Mdonya Old River Camp (camp lovely, but game sparse plus tsetse flies) and 3 nights Pongwe Beach hotel (staff could not have been more helpful or friendly) in Zanzibar

Safari Consultants organise everything for you and the package is tailor made to exactly what you want and when you want it, cannot recommend them highly enough.

Had the most wonderful holiday, did not see as many animals as some safaris, but those we did see were special, especially the elephants. All the camps we visited were excellent and just as described on our itinerary. All the staff friendly and helpful, all the guiding was great.

Everything went according to plan, could not have asked for better service. Have been to Africa a number of times but this was the most well organised. Would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of going on a safari.

We had an amazing holiday. First stop was three nights at Imbabala Safari Lodge with a day out to Chobe. The lodge was brilliant, managers, staff and guides were happy, friendly and very efficient. Our guide was extremely knowledgable about the area, for flora and animals and we say lots of game. Food delicious and plentiful. We then went to Batonka Guest Lodge at Victoria Falls within walking distance to town and the falls. Lovely new, colonial style hotel. Extremely well run, beautiful decor, rooms super, spacious and spotless. Pool refreshing after a day out in the heat! Food excellent. Enjoyed the town and the Falls. Hwange Bush Camp was our next stop for four nights. What a super place to have a safari experience. natural, comfortable and right close to nature. Tents spacious, comfortable, with super bathroom area, , running cold water, hot water ordered for bucket shower which was always when we liked. Flushing toilet, it was bore water, so was always there and drinkable. Everyone did their utmost to make sure we were well looked after. They were very efficient, friendly and happy people. Our guide/driver was excellent. We saw lots of special sightings, highlight was a lovely family of 4 lionesses with eleven cubs which we watched for ages, only the setting sun put a stop to it as we had to return to camp. Early breakfasts, freshly made, toast, pancakes, boiled eggs, porridge or maize porridge, assorted teas, coffee. Mid morning on drive, tea/coffee and cake. After couple of hours rest following a delicious lunch, afternoon cake and a cuppa, sunset drinks looking out onto the bush returning to camp sitting around the campfire talking about the day’s events. Dinners were varied and excellent accommodating those with allergies. . Would thoroughly recommend our consultants. They put an superb itinerary together and whenever we had a query before leaving always responded immediately.

We had a fantastic trip to Kenya and Zanzibar organised by Safari Consultants for our honeymoon. The advice given my Michele at Safari Consultants was invaluable in ensuring our trip was as good as it was. Her advice on where to go on a Safari for us novice was great and the Safari in Kenya at Ol Seki Hemingway’s was perfect. We can not recommend it enough. The Zanzibar portion of the trip was a perfect way to relax on the beach after the busy few days on Safari

Safari consultant were more than helpful throughout the process from initial equiry to the trip itself. The trip, transfers and hotels were all great.

Family holiday - 5 days at Kicheche Mara Camp followed by 7 days at Gold Zanzibar. Very smooth and well organised - our first trip to Africa and we felt in very safe hands. Everything was as planned and exceeded all our expectations!
