Coast to Coast walk from St Bees to Shap was everything we could have asked for - beautiful scenery, challenging terrain and really well organised with excellent accommodation along the route.

We could not fault Mickledore for their booking experience, choice of accommodation, provision of route guidance and the sensitive way in which they handled our holiday when we had to return suddenly following a family bereavement. Excellent and would definitely recommend and use them again ourselves.

A week walking with all accommodation and luggage transfers arranged by Mickledore. Excellent daily directions and mapping. A first rate experience from start to finish.

Very professional and helpful, as well as knowledgeable about the trail we were doing. As a result, our trip went smoothly because of their good advice and set-up.

We booked the 7 day Speyside Way (including both spurs) through Mickledore and it was a great time. Much of the walk follows the old railbed of the Speyside Way so it is fairly easy. As always the accommodations were exceptional.

Mickeldore does an amazing job of picking high-quality accommodations. The planning tools they provide are very helpful. Most importantly they are very quick to respond to any inquiries.

I have been thinking about the C2C walk for many years and Mickledore made it a reality. This is a walk across Northern England following Wainwright' famous route. The options provided were very useful and allowed me to break the journey half-way.

The organisation, information provided and choice of stays was excellent. I did not encounter any issues or problems with the arrangements. I will certainly book again with Mickledore and would recommend them to anyone interested in this type of holiday.

Walking independently for one week - first hundred miles of Pennine Way starting in Edale and finishing at Horton in Ribblesdale.

Bag transfer and accommodation all organised by Mickledore including a couple of taxi transfers where accommodation was more than one mile from the trail. Comprehensive info provided beforehand.

The website is a pleasure to use; whatever aspect of the walk or Mickledore’s organisation you’re seeking it’s there. The app is extremely useful and as well as having all the documents it has emergency contact- which thank goodness we have never had to use. This year's walk was the Speyside Way. We enjoyed an extra day at the Dalnashaugh hotel on the Ballindalloch Estate which was picked by Mickledore Travel. All the nights stays were fine but for range of Whiskys the Highlander Inn is the one

This was a self guided walking tour in the English Lake District. We hiked each day stopping at a different inn or hotel at night.

Very well organized -- great communication from the Mickledore Team, really clear information for each days walking stage, All of the places we were booked into were first rate and we had good local information about each stop
