We visited 11 cathedrals in 9 days and travelled by coach round England - London to Durham, then across to Coventry, down to Salisbury and Winchester, then back to London.

Everything is covered, apart from a few meals. The tour manager sees to everything, makes sure that things run smoothly. the lecturer is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and able to share that knowledge.

Hisoty of Art & Culture with Prof Fabrizzio Nevlo. A stunning tour taking in hidden gems in little known hill-top towns and villages, as well as visits to well recognised sites and towns. The guide's knowledge, good humour and local expertise made the trip a joy from start to finish. He creates such an enjoyable learning environment, bringing places and history alive. Despite the amount we saw, I was always able to absorb and digest the experiences because of how thoughtful Fabrizio was in pace, tone and content, so his delivery was fascinating, enlivening and I never felt overloaded by having too much information.

The office always provided swift and helpful responses to e-mails and made it feel a very personal service. The Tour Manager was welcoming and well organised. Always relaxed despite managing so many logistics behind the scenes, he never appeared stressed, and nothing was ever too much trouble. All the logistic ran without a hitch, and the hotel, food and coach were all of a high standard. The Martin Randall team provided all that was necessary for me to relax and enjoy every minute of the tour, while they took responsilbity for every detail, small and large, to ensure the week ran smoothly and every member of the group was looked after. Excellent! I do and will continue to recommend them.

A mixture of guided tours, free time, meals, and excellent seats for four operas, The Bristol hotel was perfectly situated for daily sightseeing.

See above. It really was a wonderful, and well organised, short (5 nights) holiday. We saw four operas at two splendid venues. We also visited local museums and had a couple of guided tours round central Vienna, taking in important points of interest. The accommodation was excellent and perfectly located to get round easily. We had time to ourselves to do a bit of individual exploration.

Good communication at all stages from Booking to delivery of the holiday. a good selection of tours on offer and the tour carefully planned with exclusive entry so many sites.

It was to Berlin, to see the Wagner Ring Cycle. The musicians and singers were superb, but the director spoiled the performances by imposing an inappropriate model on Wagner's work. That was not MR's fault.

Relatives who have travelled with MR extol their standards, and I can now see why. It is hard to think of ways in which those parts of the experience under MR control could have been improved. On days between performances we were whisked off by luxury coaches to various sites outside the city centre or visited museums close by the hotel. Excellent staff enhanced the experience via their considerable erudition.

This was The Ring in Berlin. Both guides were experts on the operas and gifted musicians themselves. Every day we had cultural trips to explore the city, complementing the focal point of of the trip, namely Wagner and his contemporaries. It was a full-on experience and thoroughly enjoyable.

This is my first time with Martin Randall and it won't be my last. I am 100% won over by their professionalism and the imagination of their schedule. There is something for everyone, and changes can be made according to the tastes and desires of the group. It's tailor-made!

Granada with the awe inspiring Alhambra through Baeza and Ubeda on to Cordoba and the magnificent La Mezquita. A thouroughly enjoyable tour with an engaging lecturer and excellent local guides, interesting travel companions, not forgetting good hotels and food.

As ever from initial contact through to delivery of the tour everything ran smoothly.
