Celebration of William Byrd in the City

Well established, very efficient and all staff helpful and friendly

It was a single day "Byrd in the City", commemorating the 40th anniversary of the death of William Byrd. Three short recitals of glorious music in important city churches.

Very expensive, so i don't book often, and not for a 'general' holiday, but when he offers something that really interests me, he provides full value for the high price.

A well organised and comprehensive tour, with an outstanding guide and excellent tour manager, so that the whole trip was enjoyable and seamless

We have now travelled with Martin Randall nine times, which says it all.

The tour combined walking and historical interest(Hadrian's Wall) in superb countryside. We enjoyed the speaker's daily evening lectures.. Our tour guide kept us all together and was helpful in making sure we were at the right place at the right time.

Martin Randall provided a first class service in terms of the tour location, the accommodation, meals and personnel.

Staying in beautiful small hotels beginning with six nights in Asolo followed by three nights in Verona. Each day we were transported the different towns in the area to experience wonderful art and architecture from Renaissance on to to more recent times. The Lecturer provided a wealth of background knowledge thoughout the tour. We were also left to choose our own dining venues every second night aided by a helpful list provided by the Tour Manager

Martin Randall Travel have provided us with endless opportunities to broaden our knowledge and visit otherwise untapped areas throughout Europe over the past ten years.

Good hotel

Superb Music in a characterful hotel.

It was a tour of main towns of the Venetian Land Empire,, showing the common characteristics of the Venetian control, lifestyle and arts and culture

Uzbekistan and the ancient sites were in a part of the world I had long wished to visit. The holiday exceeded my expectations

The Martin Randall tour was superb. The specialist lecturer, Peter Webb, was the best we've experienced and the entire tour ran perfectly. What a wonderful exposure to the history of Central Asia.

The Martin Randall staff and lecturer were very attentive to our needs and made our experience fascinating and educational. We'll never forget it.

As you know, Albania has recently become open to tourism. Having said that the places we went to were very very nice, people couldn’t have been more accommodating and charming, food, for the most part was very very good. And of course, our tour organizer and tour lecturer, and our local lecturer and our bus driver were all outstanding. we had a very nice range of visits and so I feel that I have a good idea of Albania and what it has to offer. Certainly deserves a repeat visit. Could not be any more enthusiastic. It was truly a wonderful experience.

The glue that held everything together. Heather is not only charming and confident, but very efficient organized and clearly in control. I would love to travel with her again, and in fact I might next year. This is the second time I’ve traveled with Martin rental, and both trips were exceptional. The Martin Randall crew are amazing, and the best I’ve ever been with.
