I already had high expectations of Japan, but somehow, my visit managed to exceed even these. The friendliness of the locals, the efficient transportation, the interesting activities, innovative technology and the amazing food all made for a wonderful trip. If it was not so far away from my family and friends, I would move there in an instant.

InsideAsia tours proved to be an incredibly efficient and helpful company. Although we went on a self-guided tour, I fear that without their information we would have been a little lost in translation; particularly when trying to navigate Japan's humungous stations. We managed to visit a country, that is considered to be an expensive destination, on a budget, without ever feeling we were missing out on anything. InsideAsia tours chose hotels for us with extra little touches that really made us feel that we were embarking on a unique form of holiday.

Our trip to Japan couldn't have been any better - we travelled to so many places during our 2 week stay, but we managed to fit in so many activities. From feeding wild deer in Nara, sitting in a hot onsen by a river, to eating Okonomiyaki with the locals in Hiroshima, we had so many different experiences and even the everyday mundane activities such as popping to a convenience shop or catching a train felt like we were exploring. Japan was a real treat for the senses, and ideal if you want to explore and get lost in a completely different culture. The fun is all in taking part - eating strange food, writing a wish at a shrine, or even just talking to the locals! We met lots of lovely people, including a tea farmer in Kyoto, a lovely lady who helped us find a bar when we were a little lost, and a waiter who laughed with us at dinner in Hiroshima. We took back so many amazing memories, such as riding a pirate ship, meeting a geisha and checking out the crazy culture hub of Harajuku! I could spend forever talking about everything, but I wouldn't do it justice, so all I can say is go experience it for yourself!

Inside Japan couldn't have been more helpful - they were always pleasant and happy to help. They made some fabulous suggestions for activities on days that we had free and even minor tips such as spectacular views or even getting to a train station early to get a glimpse of the Shinkansen bullet trains flying through the station. They even recommended a stop to Hakone, which ended up being one of my favourite parts of the trip. We felt thoroughly equipped with everything we needed to know before we left, and found the information packs more and more useful as the holiday progressed. I have heartily recommended Inside Japan to my friends, colleagues, acquaintances, and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Knowledgeable and efficient.

The Japan Enchantment small group tour was, for me, the first visit to Japan and my first guided tour. The whole tour was faultless from beginning to end in terms of accommodation, food, the tourist sites we visited and the tour leader who spoke fluent Japanese and English enhancing our understanding of the country.

Nothing was too much trouble before we travelled and, once there, the whole tour was excellent.

It was amazing to experience a country I have wanted to go to for 5 years now. I loved each city in its own way. Especially Tokyo & Osaka. The anime/manga themes and modern Japan really was wonderful and I can't wait to go back within the next few years

Inside Japan Tours has good internal Knowledge of Japan with a team who have all lived and/or worked in Japan with a base in Japan too. The price and value for money was also good. I like how their tour/itinerary was suitable for young adults and travelers.

This was our second trip to Japan. Inside Japan do an amazing job at tailoring a holiday to meet your needs. This trip took us into rural Japan and to some fascinating new places but took us back to enjoy some new experiences in the frenetic but different city of Osaka.

Our tailored trip was expertly planned by InsideAsia. They listened to all of our requests and were very flexible and patient with us!

We were sent absolutely everything we needed from InsideJapan tours, even a Manaca card already charged with funds. So upon our arrival in the huge Naritia airport we were able to find our way into the city and to our hotel with out a problem. We stayed in 5 different locations and five different styles of accommodation, from the ancient and traditional to the modern, bustling and business environment. All hugely contrasting and showing us unique aspects of Japanese life as it is today with little glimpses into the past. We loved Hakone, staying in a centuries old ryokan, dressing and eating in a traditional manner. I think the whole experience helped us to understand the modern Japan and what both drives the culture and economy and yet what also makes it cohesive and successful. We appreciated the follow up and support during our holiday.

Halley was enthusiastic and efficient. She got back to us quickly and phoned when more information was required. Adam picked up seamlessly when she went away on a tour. I think the main thing was that they always got back to us so promptly and never made you feel that you were fussing. I also really appreciated that when they sent us things, everything was explained and NOTHING was missing or had been overlooked.

My holiday was a month in Japan with a mixture of history, culture and high tech. The accommodation was a mixture which included hotels, home stays and a capsule hotel which was exactly what I wanted. The rail pass and IC card covered all the transport and meant there there practically no extra out of pocket expenses.

Inside Japan used my list of what I wanted to see and worked out a suitable itinerary. We fine tuned the itinerary together to suit the time of year and what special events were on, such as Fire Festival & Motor show etc. They booked the accommodation and arranged the rail passes and some tours. Once I arrived all I had to do was follow the Info Pack to be at the right hotel on the right night and I got to see everything I wanted and much more. My only real costs were lunch, dinner, some entry fees and souvenirs.
