I loved Japan

I travelled to Japan on my own and the information provided by the company was extremely detailed and helpful so made it easy for me to find my way about . Also assistance in planning my trip was great and suggestions to make it really memorable were

I travelled to Hokkaido, northernmost island of Japan, to see its wonderful scenery, beautiful national parks, and relaxed way of live comparing with Honshu which is quite hectic i many towns. I stayed in business style hotels, Toyoko Inns, private pension and wonderful hotels. One on shore of Toya lake, with beautifully appointed Japanese style rooms and great food, and then in Bearmonte Hotel in Asahidake Onsen, which was also very nice...

I travelled using JP Rail pass , having made all my seat reservations on arrival at the Narita Airport which saved me a lot of time. I also travelled by bus from Asahikawa to Asahidake Onsen. It was easy to find the bus terminal near the rail station and 2 hour journey through the countryside was very pleasant. I also had arranged for qa mountain guide to go hiking on Asahidake Mountain which was a highlight of the holiday. Food everywhere was very good (I like Japanese food), people friendly and helpful, Trains punctual, comfortable and spotless.

A mom and two girls working their way through Japan

I spent 10 days in Japan with my daughters, aged 9 and 13 in July 2017. We started in Kyoto, then spent two days in the mountains of Nagano, then spent the last few days in Tokyo. I didn't want the kids to be bored by an endless parade of museums and temples, so I tried to find things we could do together that would relate to their interests. I didn't want the kids to be bored by an endless parade of museums and temples, so I tried to find things we could do together that would relate to their interests. We ended up doing so much: archery lessons, a maiko (geisha-in-training) makeover, fabric dyeing, visiting the bowing deer at Nara, seeing the snow monkeys in Nagano, taking a manga drawing class, and doing some shopping in Tokyo's Harajuku district. We had an amazing, transformational trip.

I found the website for InsideJapan (part of InsideAsia Tours) and contacted them for help in organizing some fun excursions. I didn't want to be part of a tour group, but I needed help because many Japanese companies do not have English-language websites and I had no idea where to start. InsideJapan has a great website that lists many excursions, and they offer tailored tour options such as airport transportation and half-day or full-day tour guides. The representative I worked with listened to what I wanted to include in the trip, then sent me a detailed itinerary that perfectly captured it all, plus added support (like the aforementioned airport transfers and guide services). The best thing was the detailed itinerary that included address in English and Japanese, so we could point to the address and the cab driver knew where to go. There's not enough room here to fully describe everything they did right. The attention to detail was amazing, and although I had never been to Japan and don't speak the language, I felt completely comfortable being there with two kids because I was so well prepared by InsideAsia Tours. They thought of everything we would need, and made sure we got an authentic Japanese experience. The service was so good I am thinking about planning another trip to one of the countries they serve, specifically because I know they will find amazing things for us to do and help us to it well.

Dream Japan Holiday

My dream holiday for as long as I can remember was to visit the Land of the Rising Sun! I eventually bit the bullet and booked it and had an amazing time! The highlight was my trip to Kinosaki Onsen, a hot springs resort to the north of Kyoto. Not only was the hotel and staff amazing; the baths were gorgeous, the location was tranquil and the people were so friendly. Osaka was another amazing place, with so much going on. I could easily have spent the entire holiday there and not regretted it for an instant. Despite Tokyo being so huge, it still didn't feel that much busier than London as it's so spread out. Travel is easy within Tokyo with a IC card and the stations are even written in English so the language isn't as daunting a barrier as you might think. Even though I spent two weeks travelling Japan, I know I've only scratched the surface of this place and it's culture and would go back in a heartbeat!

Inside Japan was an operator I came across when searching for guided or escorted holidays for Japan, as I was nervous about planning it myself. 3 week adventure around the Japan Alps

My family of 4 spent 3 weeks, touring independently. Inside Japan worked with me to set up a tour that was seamless. It was well planned, all our hotels, transportation, private guides were wonderful. We saw so much, and I am pleased with the service and price of our holiday.

Inside Japan - a wonderful experience with first class tour leader, with experiences I shall never forget.

2 weeks travelling round Japan, including sites in cities such as Kyoto, Tokyo, Matsamuto, Kanazawa and others. Living out of a suitcase seemed quite easy and everyone was up promptly and early each day in happy anticipation of the day ahead. Each day we saw some amazing temples; we fed deer on a island trip and saw monkeys amongst some wonderful landscapes and the most beautiful gardens. Living out of a suitcase seemed quite easy and everyone was up promptly and early each day in happy anticipation of the day ahead. Each day we saw some amazing temples; we fed deer on a island trip and saw monkeys amongst some wonderful landscapes and the most beautiful gardens. The trip was pretty fast-paced but it was worth it as we saw so many wonderful places, experienced the Japanese culture first hand and totally immersed ourselves in everything presented to us each day. The weather was quite hot most days but even on the couple of days when it rained, it did not deter our plans and we still experienced many wonders. The people of Japan are so gracious and their country so impressive (and clean), their gardens are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. One could not be enamoured by this trip. Once in a lifetime that I will never forget. Sayonara !

Rating for tour operator:

From making the initial query, to booking and then actually going on the trip was first class. I have travelled quite a lot beforehand and have always been rather impressed by the service I received. However, the service by InsideJapan was beyond anything I had ever expected. Queries were answered promptly and quickly, no matter how small and each step of the way was explained in detail. You knew early on that you were being guided through the process with a very conscientious and experienced tour operator. Second to none in my experience.

A fantastic introduction to Japan

Our 9-day tour started in Tokyo and moved on from there to the beach town of Kamakura. Following that, we moved on to the hot springs resort city of Hakone, then Kyoto, and finally back to Tokyo. All the destinations had amazing experiences associated with them.
