The Summer Isles by Roberta, 15 Nov 2014

very professionally guided in a beautiful location

Amazing holiday in the Summer Isles in North Scotland. Everything was very well organised. The guides were very professional. I always felt very safe with them. They were very good at giving us challenges in a supportive and safe way. The food was great - especially considering it was all taken with us and cooked on a camp stove.

Luxury hiking in the highlands of Scotland

We spent seven days hiking the West Hihland Way. We were provided with excellent maps and reference material which added to the interest and enjoyment of the trip. Our luggage was transported each day to a new destination, where we were warmly welcomed, sheltered and fed in readiness for the next leg of the walk.

We found the service personalized with attention to details. Any surprises along the trail were pleasant and related to the trail walking experience.

Fantastic Travel Experience

I can't say enough good things about Wilderness Scotland. My wife and I had decided that we wanted to make Scotland our honeymoon destination, but with work and other responsibilities tugging at us, we just weren't able to find the time to plan it. With less than a month to go, we turned to the Wilderness Scotland team to try and save us. Our experience was fantastic! From the first moment we spoke to them on the phone I knew we were in good hands...

From the first moment we spoke to them on the phone I knew we were in good hands. We talked about the sort of things we had in mind, and within a couple of days they had put together the perfect custom itinerary for our approval. We didn't need to change a thing! Our trip went off without a hitch and was filled with fun activities ranging from castle visits and ghost tours, to ATVing and challenging, but beautiful hikes both on our own and with a personal guide. The accommodations they booked for us were stunning and sublime. And all through the trip we were surprised by little details to show they had thought about us (like chocolates waiting in our room on my birthday). I'd highly, highly recommend Wilderness Scotland to friends and family (and anyone)!

Riding the wilderness of Scotland

This six day riding trip, starting in Aberdeen, takes you off road across the stunning countryside of Scotland. You need to be fit to reap the full benefit but as each day unfolds the beauty increases until you reach the Ardnarmurchan lighthouse and the trail runs out. Well guided and supported this is a terrific mountain bike holiday which will have you tackling wicked single track as well as enjoying long rolling loch side tracks.

Cross Country Mountain Biking

This was an awesome trip. It was a 6-day mountain biking trip, coast to coast, across Scotland. It covered mountains, roads, back trails, hills, valleys, rivers, lakes, and everything in between.
