The weather is perfect. The sea unfortunately is not safe to swim in, but the hotel had two pools. Numerous restaurants and bars that were all reasonably priced and ranged from quite good to absolutely excellent. If you like steak, you can get a very tasty 8oz fillet steak for around £12. Ramadan did not seem to affect our holiday at all except for fewer staff available for around half an hour after dusk and many restaurants not really open until about 8pm or later.

This was my second trip with Gambia Experience. Both have been well organised and matched the brochure description

Relaxing, entertaining and beautiful. Met some lovely people and the weather was just perfect. Location near to the beach a large bonus

Very good, just that the upgrade to Star Class, in my opinion, was a little overpriced. It did add a nice touch to a special birthday celebration.

Lots of positives; staff, food, entertainment, atmosphere. However: No taxi on arrival, having to pay for use of the safe and the spa (which wasn't fully functional.) Inferior room: no robe or towels, no tea/coffee or kettle, empty fridge, towels were old and stained, drains were blocked so water didn't drain away (had to ask 3 times before this was addressed), no full length mirror, furniture is old and tired, 2 single beds pushed together so uncomfortable to sleep on. Lack of information at check in re towels and wrist band (found out through other guests.) Air conditioning not working in gym, steam rooms not operating in spa, flies sitting on the food in the restaurant. Not what we would expect for what we paid or for a hotel of this rating.

Helpful and always available, just feel like we have been way overcharged.

We had a fabulous time drinking in the sites that surround you in The Gambia. Very thought provoking putting ones own life into perspective.

holiday great except the return journey to airport and service at airport too many people no organisation poor service by staff . not enough passport control staff only 2 for non Gambians . From hotel to check in over 3 hours. we had tremendous help from Gambia Experience rep
