We walked the Hadrian's Wall Path trail organised by Mickledore and it was excellent. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. We loved the bonhomie with our fellow walkers, the scenery, the honesty places and arriving at our accommodation for that warm welcome , cold drink and warm shower.

The organisation was superb, everything ran like clock work. We booked with relative short notice but this was no problem to Mickledore. The accommodation was good and well situated for the path. The couple of occasions that it wasn't, we used the taxi service recommended by the company. This again was reliable. All interaction was helpful and professional. We met fellow walkers who were also walking with Mickledore and all had the same experience.

Very efficient service. Initial inquiry received a quick response. All the accommodation was booked and information with full details of the walk and available services along the way was very helpful and thorough. Everything worked smoothly including taxi transfers to accommodation that was some distance from the walking route.

We walked the coastal highlights of the Cleveland way, for our friends 60th birthday & absolutely loved it! Stunning scenery, great walking- really well sign posted. Met lots of interesting and entertaining people along the way! The organisation from mickledore was excellent , all accommodation was of a good standard. Breakfasts in all accommodation amazing catering for different dietary needs. Friendly hosts in all accommodation the welcome from all staff at the spa hotel in saltburn to heather at Raven house in robin hoods bay and Jeremy at the sea field guest house who managed to book us into a cocktail bar and restaurant at very short notice .

Attentive to our requests, flexible with dates, excellent communication throughout booking. Provided detailed information about the walk, friendly and approachable. Can’t fault them in any way and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.

Walked west to east in mid-August, as a single traveller. Having Mickledore do all the logistics meant I could focus on enjoying the walk. The quality of the accomodation was excellent. The luggage transport was easy and efficient. The joining details were fully comprehensive.

Correspondence was easy and they are very responsive. All the details were clear and accurate; I was able to simply enjoy the walk and didn't need to worry about anything else.

Four of us (aged 60 - 70) walked the Cotswold Way in 6 days. It was quite challenging at times, with plenty of hills and long days, but the paths were good underfoot and the weather just about perfect for walking. The views were spectacular. Each night we stayed in a different B&B which were, with one exception, of a high standard. Those in the heart of the Cotswold villages were particularly interesting. A fantastic week for all.

Mickledore was superb. We were sent detailed, comprehensive information prior to our trip, including guide book and map. The B&Bs selected were varied and interesting, mostly of a high standard. Our bags were collected and sent on to our next venue most efficiently. A taxi was provided to take us to one location off the day's route. Overall, we were very impressed with Mickledore and we plan to use them again next year.

Walking from St Davids to St Dogmaels- Every B & B booked for us was exceptional and the plans/lengths of walks all really appropriate. All the transfers of luggage and ourselves all worked well- We could just enjoy the walking and the holiday- Would use again and thoroughly recommend

Mickledore were helpful and informative from first planning to booking and pre travel info. They listened to what we needed and given all the covid problems were prompt and responsive. We should have been away with KE their sister company but again as things have needed to be cancelled moved they too have been excellent

Mickledore made it so easy and straightforward - booking all the different B&Bs (all good), luggage transfer service between venues and plenty of useful info/guides. Couldn't be better.

Great organisation of hotels just off the wall and lovely friendly places and great recommendations for places to eat and park. Directions from the company to the hotels were very good and they organised movement of bags too! Overall a great holiday.

We walked St Cuftberts Way from Melrose to Lindisfarne. It was both brilliant and beautiful. Mickeldore were exceptional in all respects - the whole experience far out weighed our expectations.

My dog and I walked the 110 mile Cleveland Way National Trail over 9 days. The organisation of accommodation at each stop, baggage transfers and information by Mickledore Travel was perfect and made for an excellent trip.

Mickledore's organisation was excellent and they communicated well when I had to postpone the trip due to Covid restrictions.
