I had a fortnight's holiday walking from Minehead to Padstow in September 2023. I enjoyed taking an extra day in Appledore during the Book Festival week.

Mickledore delivers. Strong customer interface with prompt responses to queries while in the planning stages, excellent arrangements and accommodations, excellent guidebooks and maps. Personable and warm.

Our holiday was simply amazing. The team at Mickledore worked to arrange accommodations that were all great, clean, friendly, and comfortable. They all met or exceeded our expectations. the highlight of our stay were the meals at Inverornan. they were truly amazing. the guide books and suggestions provided helped make are trip seamless from beginning to end.

Mickledore was extremely professional and helpful. They worked hard to find accomdations and make are holiday work. they were also helpful in providing contacts to hire a car in fort William, and a contact to assist in booking rail reservations to get us to Milngavie and back to Edinbourgh from Ft William.

Mickledore arranged our accommodations, luggage and people transfers as required. Their selection of BNB's was excellent and greatly enhanced our experience. The Mickledore staff was very responsive during the planning process and during our vacation.

We did the walk in eight days. All of the information provided by Mickledore was accurate and very helpful. The accommodations were lovely and the baggage transport was on time.

This is the sixth time that I have used Mickledore Travel, the first time was in 2006 walking the Wainwright Coast to Coast. Mickledore has always been professional, responsive and helpful. Last year we needed to make some changes to our trip and they were more than willing to work with us to manage the change.

We walked the Dales Way from Ilkley to Bowness on Windermere in 8 days.

This was our second walking holiday with Mickledore and was equally as good as the first. Fantastic accomodation and faultless planning made for a smooth, well organised holiday. We currently planning the next one!!

It was a family trip that combined: quality time together, a sense of adventure, history, culture, isolation from the city, and spectacular scenery. It was such a wonderful experience to have a daily challenge of our walk and to get to our accommodation for good food and lots of good discussion about our day. It was so well organised that we had no stress and could just enjoy the journey.
