We have an annual family hike on the British isles and this year we had decided on the St. Cuthbert's Way. Great walk, weather was fair to nice.

Mickledore (I have booked holidays with them for years now)is very reliable, very accommodating, very communicative, the holiday packages and information are top-notch, very responsive and they offer excellent value for money. The B&B's they book are always first class.

We walked the West Highland Way - 96 miles over 10 days, with 9 days walking. The walk goes from Milngavie just north of Glasgow, to Fort William and passes through stunning Scottish Scenery. We were blessed with good weather 8 days out of 9.

We had used Mickledore previously and their service had been excellent. We had no hesitation in choosing them again. Mickledore arrange the accommodation and baggage transfer. All the overnight stops were lovely. We trust Mickledore to choose as we would. Mickledore cover walking and cycling holidays in the UK and Europe. I will use them again!!

Professional, responsive and a very well-organised self-guided tour. This was particularly important as I was traveling from abroad and traveling alone. Realistically, I could never have made the arrangements as seamless as Mickledore did.

Easy to deal with, fabulous organisation and attention to detail

This is the 4th walking holiday we have taken with Mickledore and they have all been fabulous. This holiday - St Cuthbert's Way from Melrose in the Scottish Borders to Holy Island in Northumberland - was beautiful from start to finish. All our accommodation was excellent and included breakfast and a packed lunch. Our luggage was transported for us so that all we had to do was book an evening meal in each place and walk, and enjoy our holiday. The backup information provided by Mickledore is also first class so booking meals ahead was easy and stress-free. We will definitely be booking with Mickledore again.

MIckeldore staff were friendly and efficient. We had some dietary requirements and all our accommodation hosts were aware of these and provided accordingly. They booked accommodation where needed, and if this wasn't available they arranged transport.

Mickledore organised our holiday. We would not go with any other walking agent. They are simply the best. We have used them countless times. Their team are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a wide range of holidays and the arrangements made for travel, accommodation and routes are always excellent.

We have used Mickledore fora number of years to manage logistics in booking accommodation and dealing with all aspect of our walking holiday in Scotland . We were keen to see the unspoilt Scottish country side and were not disappointed with some epic views on walking the two famous Scottish national trails.

Mickledore provide comprehensive information on the trip from details concerning the location and arrival details for each hotel/B&B , with useful information on amenities on route, from restaurants to places to grab a coffee on route. As a remote walk details on how to fuel on route is super important.

Great experience and well worth the money. Mickledore is a great company to go with. They do all the leg work, accommodation, mapping, miles to walk each day, details of where to eat in the evening. Good communication from the moment of booking to the end of the holiday.

This is the second holiday we have booked through Mickledore. The planning and preparation was spot on. The walk went smoothly. We met some amazing people en-route. The walking was great. The accommodation was overall really good. Luggage pick-up went smoothly. Overall a very stress free experience. The climax was walking the Pilgrim's Route from the mainland to Lindisfarne in bare feet!

All communications are professional and timely. If you have to phone you are greeted by people living in this country. Very happy with the service we have received.
