Very basic for the money
Sahara trek, not the best facilities , didnt expect luxury but quite a few things could have been done better. Have done similar treks before so not new to this. Sahara a brilliant experience though, would recommend it

Rating for tour operator:Did what they were required to do, pre trip admin was very good, as was the Facebook page they set up for us .
We're glad you loved the experience overall Kim. Life is stripped back to the basics when you are out in the desert. We hope the hotel in Marrakech made up for this. Do let us know where you would have expected more from us.
Inspiring and Amazing
Trek across the Great Wall of China. Staying in rural locations including in a local farmhouse. Majority of group were raising money for charities which made it inspiring to hear people's stories. Well organised and ran by both tour leader and local guides.

Excellent support
Excellent support
Excellent challenge, cycling from Land's End to John O' Groats
This was a fantastic challenge, well supported throughout by the Discover Adventure team. Cycled 1,000 miles from Land's End to John O' Groats in eleven and a bit days, with all the accommodation, food, route etc organised by DA. The DA staff also check everyone is ok and fix any problems that might arise, with bikes or weary limbs! A great way to see the UK.

Rating for tour operator:Excellent throughout, both in advance, during and after the trip. Good information provided. I was told that Discover Adventure look after you really well, which is why Help for Heroes use them for their challenges, and they were absolutely right. Can't fault them.
Thank you Andy for everything you've said here. Our Land's End to John O'Groats Cycle is one of our flagship challenges and now you've seen why. Hope you will come back for more next year!

An amazing wildlife and cultural trip following the Maasai in their footsteps!
The trip was guided by local ground crew and gave us a great insight into the local culture. We learnt about the daily lives of the Maasai people, walked through villages and visited a bomba, met local children and developed a greater understanding of their relationship with their livestock. We were honoured to be the first 'white people' a family had ever met! All of this was whilst trekking through the Maasai Mara with some spectacular views ...

We were honoured to be the first 'white people' a family had ever met! All of this was whilst trekking through the Maasai Mara with some spectacular views of magnificent scenery. We were fortunate enough to extend the trip to visit some of Tanzania's National Parks and see lots of wildlife flourishing in their natural habitat.
Rating for tour operator:I have travelled with Discover Adventure before so booked this trip knowing it would be well organized and safely handled. It was a fantastic experience and I have recommended the company since my first trip, to family and friends. DA add new trips so I check their website regularly.
We always think this trip is one of our best kept secrets! So thank you Crystal for spreading the word about it. Our DA Leaders rank it as one of the best trips in our brochure too!
