Tailor-made Botswana Safari Traveller Reviews

Travelling as a family group of 3 - my parents and I, we spent 10 days in Botswana, combining stays in Kwara, Lagoon, Lebala and Camp Kalahari. We managed to see all the predators at least once in addition to herds of game, elephants and buffalos. During our stay at Camp Kalahari, we enjoyed their unique Meerkat, Bushmen and Night on the Pan experiences and were extremely fortunate to spot a Black-Footed Cat on one of our night drives. A holiday we won't ever forget!

Expert Africa and especially Lucy were an absolute joy to work with. Knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly helpful. From the first contact to the follow-up after our return, we felt comfortable.

Expert Africa- the name says it all

We had two different kind of safari experiences: a tented camp for 4 nights and a game lodge for 3. The quality of service, food and accommodation at both was high, and the game-viewing experiences we had were varied and so interesting. All of our party enjoyed the trip immensely.

Expert Africa listened carefully to our needs and suggestions for our holiday and then were able to design our perfect trip to meet those needs exactly. The arrangements were delivered perfectly. Yet again, we were very pleased with the service Expert Africa provided.

We spent 2.5 weeks in Namibia, Botswana and Victoria Falls. The trip was such a success, hugely memorable and without fault in any respect.

Every interaction with the tour operator from start to finish was professional, constructive and smooth. I had a broad itinerary I wanted to follow but this was made a wonderful reality with lovely lodges and excellent planning throughout. My agent - and others I spoke to in her absence - were extremely responsive, constructive, helpful, informative and friendly.

We travelled to Botswana for a 10 night safari and our experience exceeded our expectations. We expected to see many wild animals, not just the well known ones, and were not disappointed. What we did not expect was the excellence of the accommodation, food and welcome.

Expert Africa arranged this trip for us and selected a great group of four camps. This enabled us to experience different aspects of Botswana around the Delta area. They also arranged our flights, including extra connections to enable us to visit relatives in South Africa at the end of our trip.

Trip to Victoria Falls and safari in Botswana

Did very well organising a complicated itinerary

We started with two nights in Victoria Falls, where we visited the Falls themselves and enjoyed a wonderful sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. We then spent eight nights in Botswana, staying at the spectacular Wilderness Safaris camps of Little Vumbura and Chitabe Lediba in the Okavango Delta - this alllowed us to experience a good mix of water and land based activities, including boat trips, mokoro trips as well as excellent game drives. The wildlife, bird life, scenery and landscapes were awesome. We finished with a two night cruise along the Chobe River, where we experienced spectacular sunsets and landscapes.

Expert Africa were excellent in designing this wonderful trip - their advice and support is greatly appreciated. Their intimate knowledge of the country and camps, as well as their excellent publications and website, were invaluable in designing a great itinerary.

Wonderful first trip to Africa and on safari - Africa is a special place and our safari lodges were among the best places to experience it in its beauty and wildness.

Provided great options and managed to provide everything we could have hoped for. Where we stayed we special for many reasons but chosen with care for us to fit what we wanted to see and experience.
