Mopane Squirrel Safari

This good value Botswana safari divides its time between Lagoon Camp or Lebala Camp in the wildlife rich Kwando Reserve and Splash Camp in the Okavango Delta over a period of 6 nights. Explore the bush with them in search of lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dogs, which the Kwando Reserve is particularly well known for.

Days 1-3

3 nights at Splash Camp (full board & activities) | Okavango Delta Safari Reserves, Botswana

Board the light aircraft in Maun for your scenic flight over the Okavango Delta. It's a short drive from the airstrip to the camp where you usually arrive in time for afternoon tea. Spend 3 nights here on safari drives, night drives, short guided walks, boat trips and mekoro (dug-out canoe) excursions from Splash Camp.

Days 4-6

3 nights at Lagoon Camp (full board & activities) | Kwando-Linyanti area, Botswana

After a morning activity you take a light aircraft flight to the northern Kwando Reserve. This area is frequented by herds of buffalo and elephant, especially in the dry season. It's also particularly well known for its predator sightings, but don't forget to keep an eye out for more elusive species such as sable and roan antelope. Spend 3 nights overlooking the Kwando River at Lagoon Camp.

Day 7

Fly back over the Okavango Delta to Maun where your safari ends.
