A circuit round most of Morocco, seeing all the great cities with their architecture, fortifications and souks; mountains and coast; Roman remains. Excellent hotels and food, and a comfortable journey well managed and escorted.

ACE Cultural Tours provide escorted tours to places of interest, with informative talks, excellent accommodation and food. I always feel very well looked after.

Wonderful visits to Romanesque buildings with superb sculpture; also surprisingly good Roman sites. Good hotels and food, and well looked after.

Interesting destinations, always well looked after but enough time for independent exploration where appropriate.

During the course of the holiday we visited those sites and towns which gave us a comprehensive overview of the history of the area from the Thracians to the present day, vividly illustrated by Thracian tombs, Roman sites, monasteries spanning many centuries and examples of the domestic architecture of the National Revival period, travelling through the beautiful wooded gorges and river valleys as we did so.

The initial organisation by ACE was faultless. The Tour Director was outstanding. The breadth and depth of his knowledge of the history, culture and art history of Bulgaria was truly astonishing. His helpfulness, sense of humour and energy contributed greatly to the success and enjoyment of the tour. Our local guide was well organised, helpful and good humoured and did an excellent job.
