Beautiful walk through the countryside of N.Devon & Somerset following old footpaths and staying in delightful places

We have booked a number of holidays in the past with On Foot and have never been disappointed.. The routes chosen and the places to stay are always been interesting and delightful. The maps and preparatory material provided are an added bonus .And we particularly appreciate the level of care and personal attention we receive from the staff.

This was a delightful holiday. We did the six night (five walking days) version which gave us plenty of time to appreciate the very varied scenery, flora and fauna and places of literary interest. There were four days of walking from one place to another and one day's walk, with many possible variations, that returned to the starting point.

This was (we think) our eleventh holiday with On Foot. They can always be relied on to devise excellent walks, provide all the information one could want, find very good accommodation and offer useful suggestions on where to eat out. Communication is brilliant: they are always on the ball and prompt to respond.

Our Coastal Exmoor walking holiday with Onfootholidays was awesome! The breathtakingly beautiful coastal views and footpaths were out of this world! Coupled with the beautiful riverside, moors, valley, and forest paths - what more could you ask for! As two "older" walkers, we were a bit leery of the uphill portions, but we took it slow and were rewarded with spectacular views. Each day was a different adventure, from the excellent accommodation to the scenery we encountered on each of the routes.

The staff at Onfootholidays were outstanding, so responsive and caring, we felt like we had family guiding us on this wonderful adventure. All of the accommodation they selected for our holiday was excellent, and the obvious research and planning they do for their walks is top notch. This was our second walk with Onfootholidays and it will not be our last!

An excellent trip exploring coastal Exmoor

We opted for a walking holiday in Devon and Somerset as travelling abroad was extremely difficult this year. We were very impressed by the variety of walking environments achievable within a five day period - cliff tops, woodland, riverbanks, moorland and pretty villages. The accommodation arranged for us was again interestingly varied and of an excellent standard, ranging from cheerful B&Bs to beautiful rambling old hotels. We have had several similar holidays both home and abroad and this definitely rated as one of the best. The glorious sunny weather obviously helped and was much appreciated!

On Foot is a brilliant company. There is a genuine feeling that they really care that we have a good holiday. Whether the destination is abroad or, in this case, at home, they cover everything that is necessary to make the holiday run as smoothly as possible. Because of the nature of the holiday, walking from place to place with different accommodation each night, there is a great deal to organise and co-ordinate. On Foot are excellent at keeping us informed during the planning process and consult us if any minor decisions have to be made. Emails are always swiftly responded to and telephone calls are extremely friendly and helpful.
