Just finished two weeks of wonderful ancient sites, swimming in the warm Aegean Sea, great companions to share terrific wine, food and the day's adventures.

Peter Sommer Travels excels in providing a full and complete holiday. Everything is organised and catered for; airport arrivals/departures, beautiful locations, wonderful food, swimming and expert knowledge travelling with like-minded people on a beautiful Gulet.

We spent two weeks with a small group aboard an elegant Turkish Gulet cruising the Lycian shore. We had expertly guided excursions planned for each day where we visited sites with our archaeologist and Turkish guides. This was an active walking trip. The walks were well thought out and described. They included a mix of sites, mostly ancient along with stunning scenery. We were well nourished, physically and mentally, with delicious food and much information. Opportunities for swimming were abundant and beautiful. It was one of the most enjoyable guided trips we have ever taken!

In the Fall of 2010 we joined Peter Sommer for an unforgettable experience aboard a gulet. We hiked and sailed and ate our way along the Turkish coast, and enjoyed every minute of it. Our expectations were exceeded in every way.

Peter Sommer's knowledge of Turkey and his wonderful way of imparting that knowledge to his guests was what made the trip memorable. He and his colleagues were exceptional and there is no doubt that it was the best tour we have ever been on.
